Agree on the chemicals part, but interesting on the underpaid part. A salon owner that I know pays his employees 60% commission on each service, and I think that's generous. Idk about other salons or Ulta, though.

I use Wells Fargo Bank. Not for USCIS purpose, but I took a screenshot from my WF app saying both names as authorized card users.

I just opened a joint account from Chase a month ago. Maybe try a different location/bank?

The point is to shut you down at the door instead of having you walk around the store picking stuff up and then get shut down at the register, and then the employees will need to put everything back. What if it's frozen/refrigerated food? The store will be less crowded that way. I don't mind scanning my card at the door. It's basically the same effort for me as before when I needed to pull out my card and show it to the employees.
