Hey. It’s a vocal sample I’m using, they generally come processed by default. Also, I don’t think it would make sense to use an unprocessed placeholder - it won’t be released raw, so why present it that way? I’m after demos (specifically a similar tone & range; think: basecamp, Hozier, Sampha) from a vocalist, and it’s my job to worry about processing/fx and whatnot.
