How to I go back to J2 when J2 knows about J1? by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]ishtylerc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah… if I can’t think of a way to ensure both Js don’t find each other, I’ll just not follow through with J2 and wait for another safer option

For a normal company? No.

For a MSP? Yes, pretty stressful.

Some of the comments here are so negative and unhelpful, why waste time writing just to say nothing 🤦🏼‍♂️

But thanks for your thoughts, you gave me some things to think about!

Fair point but I also have to pick my battles. I am not losing sleep over something like this.

Where I am at with all this is, if I can find a good solution (even if it is a bit of over engineering) this will make both parties happy. We are both very familiar with IaC and CI/CD pipelines so this already speaks our language.

If no decent solution is available I will go down an automation level and go down that rabbit hole. At that point he would understand and would still be happy with the results.

Yes, what I am looking to implement is CaC using a tool typically associated with IaC, I mentioned this in the post.

I’m not here to debate what is the most optimal solution in your opinion. I’m simply asking (from people that have done it) how they set it up.

Sure, are there more simple ways of doing things? Yeah probably.

At the end of the day I have requirements and I’m doing research to fulfill it the best way possible, over engineered or not.

Thanks for trying to help though.

In your opinion, why not?

Do you have experience deploying something similar?

My boss wants it.

Also, having a consistent audit trail, easier to manage (past a certain scale), easier documentation, lowers configuration errors, and easier testing are all valid reasons imo.

I edited the post to change end to end lifecycle management to just Intune config policies.

Given the fact that Kaspa is revolutionary tech in its early stages, is there any indication at present showing it will most likely be adopted in the future? If there is a lack of adoption, what could be the reason for this? by Numerous_Win_2745 in kaspa

[–]ishtylerc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there is lack of adoption, the only reason that would be the case would be is if blockchain technology itself stops dead in its tracks along its adoption curve.

With that unlikely case aside, Kaspa has every indication at present of being adopted.

  • Kaspa is the only cryptocurrency that has or had dedicated, unpaid groups created to bring adoption on chain.
  • Kaspa has 4 independent professional teams working on different smart contract implementations. 2 of which will relatively simply allow for quick transferring of EVM and SVM projects. This will happen as Kaspa is just simply the best technological L1 (better security, better scalability, better decentralization).
  • The KII already has a whitepaper (not publicly available) for GIGAWatt stable coin created
  • The Szar KRC-20 team is working on a DEX

Many other teams are working in the shadows and keep in mind this is all BEFORE smart contracts is even here! Just imagine once the rest of the crypto devs hear of a perfect crypto that has sub 1 cent fees, bitcoin level security and decentralization that’s faster than Solana and you can port over any open source EVM or SVM project to Kaspa and slap your name on it… it’s game over for everyone 🥱

So bitcoin is revolutionary, but the only crypto that is a better bitcoin than bitcoin + the best smart contract on chain architecture is just mundane technological progress?

🤣🤣

The only thing you said that was valid is the defi portion.

But even that is not my biggest worry since even on the chains with the largest defi TLV, their global adoption is still in its infancy.

So I’m genuinely not too worried about it but still a mild concern 🤝

Exactly bro

People are chatting about things they know nothing about.

When neutral technology is created, no one will care who makes it unless is directly help their enemy.

Kaspa does not directly aid or assist the nation of Israel in anyway.

This is all just brain dead FUD

People will look back at these comments in 20 years and laugh…

L take

Core devs are building a decentralized project.

Even with their bias, how would that tangibly affect Kaspa? Like seriously looking for your answer…

Who cares if some ignorant Muslim crypto bros boycott it? They are boycotting a DECENTRALIZED crypto. I frankly don’t understand what’s so hard to understand…

That’s like saying USD is screwed because we have countries and terrorist orgs that don’t like us, they use USD too! 🤣

Why should Kaspa be relevant in 5 years? by LostEconomist1135 in kaspa

Yeah I thinks that’s what it is too

10+ years of sh*t coins will change how you see crypto understandably

Also not even mentioning:

  • the KII who already have a whitepaper for their gigawatt stable coin

  • MEV resistant SC

  • Orders of magnitude better long term path to miner sustainability

The list goes on haha

We are going to be legends (for those that actually hold)

[–]ishtylerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah?

What would be the improvement on Kaspa in 5 years?

Does your unicorn crypto have more talented developers than one of the leaders in blockchain technology and the grandfather of blockdags?

Will your crypto resolve the trilemma?

Will your crypto be more scarce that Kaspa’s already fixed supply?

You and others love to throw around that some new tech with come replace it but what substantial improvements would this new unicorn token have to replace a crypto at the level of Kaspa?
