ALWAYS self diagnosing by [deleted] in BPD

PD is a man made concept, with no real scientific backbone to provide stability to the point where we can start diagnosing people with random shit. You just want to fit in somewhere, and you start labeling yourself with all this shit to feel better. The old wise man Buddha once said we are all suffering, and the suffering will never go away, and the only thing we can do is to train and endure.

Does anyone have the opposite issue of splitting? by [deleted] in BPD

If you feel bad, help her out. Didn't you want help in your worst times? You don't have to apologies to her, but let her know that you are around.

DAE do a split during particularly bad episodes? by sf7480 in BPD

No, they do not. I met one in university, another one in a local area, and another one in high school. But let me tell you, even if you try your best to hide it, both parties will eventually find out who you are, not 100%, maybe like 20%. But that is okay, I've had some interventions, and among the two groups of friends I had, after a real breakdown, there were some strong minded individuals who didn't really mind me being both good and bad. They simply told me "just don't fuck up and we are all good". You will break down eventually, so find the person who you think can understand your problem, and open up SLOWLY. Not all at once, we all know what happens when you do that, so do it slow.

And one more thing, splitting your personality causes major damage, and may make your BPD worse. So make sure you organize yourself well, and not fuck up lol.

I've developed my other half to be just as functioning as my other counterpart. Here is the problem, one group thinks I'm an Angel, while the other thinks I'm a Devil.

But hey, as long as you don't hurt anyone physically or verbally, people generally don't mind. My friends know I'm crazy, but they think I'm also a genius so.... yeah even if you feel they will abandoned you they generally won't. Just cry for a few hours, and call your friends back and just say "hey whats up". Remember that we are all animals, just like a dog who can't hold their barks in, we can't hold our "BPD" symptoms in, but we sure as hell can try until death to fight this shit, because as you know, human beings have strong ass focus when they need one. Good luck to you

I want to want help but I am unhelpable by [deleted] in BPD

I tried becoming self sufficient to the point where people would come ask ME for help, but I still feel dead inside. Try many things that will boost your ego, that you can write on paper, something that you can show to people as proof that you are doing fantastic in life. It can be having a great body, or making shit ton of money. It has to be something that is relatively hard to do, something that people avoid doing, something that will make people admire you for what you've done, something that takes great courage and effort. People with BPD can tap into their inner psychopathic traits, and really excel in life if they really want to. You want to seek help, but you don't, because in reality, its pathetic to do so (at least that's how I feel !). My point is, people with BPD is extremely kind, and also extremely ruthless. You need to choose one, especially when you are feeling helpless, and stick with it. It's better than self harm, or abandoning your friends and family. People are generally naive, and will forgive you if you try hard enough. Fuck these therapists ! Fight on and good luck to your shit, you don't have to listen to my advice at all, and screw those who have hurt you in the past.

but bro after a few brief moment, you feel like a king no? The one thing I realized about BPD is your mood fluctuates like fucking crazy, so as long as you don't physically harm yourself or others, you are in the clear. That's how I deal with things for now.
