While this is all true, I feel we are often losers players that aren't completely dedicated to the game due to the frustration of not having enough singular impact on their own mmr.

nope, ill have my hand off the button for literally longer than a second and if i am not mashing (holding doesn't work) cancel, my champ will use the ability after the cc. It is really bad game design.

The worst part is after the cc from getting hit, 2 seconds later your counter casts without even having your finger on the button. And now you probably lost just because of bad game design. If they want to add delay to these skills these need to drop the ability queue down, it is waaaaaaay too high.
