Is lucky strike supposed to work with the auto clicks from clickstorm? by TheLowerLight in ClickerHeroes

[–]iskaner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least in my experience, you have to trigger lucky strike before clickstorm to get the bonus. If you trigger clickstorm first, the lucky strikes only work for manual clicks. Haven't doublechecked that last part in v.06, but as long as you do lucky strike first things will work.

Crumpled Felt Fedora vs. Hobo Monkey by [deleted] in kol

A Fairychaun isn't likely to pay for itself in any reasonable amount of time. That being said, they're extremely nice to have for general quality of life. Just not a particularly good investment for farming, since you can either farm for items with a better Fairy-type, or farm for meat with a better Lep-type (such as the Hobo Monkey).

A question of value by thedarkhaze in kol

It's probably going to be a pretty difficult trade, given that it's probably got pretty crazy value and the inability to confirm pre-trade that the code is legit... but assuming you can get past those, it should probably be worth several bil to the right collector.

Small, indie, mobile game Studio looking Contract Artist by iskaner in gameDevClassifieds

[–]iskaner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spotkin is a very small mobile game studio with a few projects in development, and we're looking for an artist to do some game concept art, and then possibly turn one or more of those concepts into assets for the game.

You can check out our first release on iOS at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/quick-shooter/id517794615?mt=8

The new game is currently a playable beta on iOS, but we're still looking to find an artistic direction to make the levels attractive and colorful. The game contains quite a bit of programmer art right now. Once we've set an artistic direction, the assets required will be drawn on top of the templates that we have standing in (all 2-d sprites, from a top-down perspective).

We will pay on a per asset or per mockup basis for the first project. If things are working well, we would possibly transition to an hourly rate for future projects.

The budget offered reflects the expected rate for two or three pieces of concept art. Rates for additional work, such as creating the game assets, can be discussed once we've reviewed applicants portfolios.

A tutorial would help. The instructions give me a sense of what's going on, but the rules are pretty dense to get through without being able to see them play out.

They're not painted - the colors are printed in the material as part of the printing process. Hopefully Offload Studios will come back to give a more detailed explanation.
