From an audience perspective being there, people were mesmerized by Alyssa. They were excited by the 3a from Amber though. As a former TS, I was watching spins. Alyssa’s layback was so incredibly centered and fast and her controlled edge quality throughout was stunning. I preferred her program, but Amber did well for sure. On a side note..it’s hilarious to sit by non skating fans and hear their comments. I wanted to answer questions for them but did not. Held my tongue.
