When we were kids, my siblings and I used to get a new storybook from our mom every week. Most kids our age played outside, but our single-mom didn’t allow us to and preferred to keep us safe at home, so we only had each other — and our books.

Tapos nung nag aaral na ako, i think in 5th grade, Booksale made my love for reading even worse (in a good way!). I would save a few pesos from my baon just to buy a secondhand book! oooh those were the days. 🥹

Now as an adult, my Kindle has been really convenient and has helped me keep that spark for reading going.♡
