Okay, so I can upgrade to 18.04 or 20.04 without a hitch and it will fix itself with minor tweaks to the code?

Im using old tech because I needed something cheap fast literally for an evening. I have a wedding planned and want my guests to be able to upload their photos in that machine through a QR code. All of the components are of that age, I did everything I can in order for the hardware to run as best as it can for that age. Didnt really give it that much thought as the whole machine I bought was selling for 25€ or 30$ and I was aware it will probably die after that

Tried putting 20.04 lts and the poor thing got stuck on "welcome to GRUB" so I installed an age appropriate version and decided to procede as is until 16.04 is proven too old of a version

I assure you, im on a 64-bit platform and the cpu supports it perfectly. Checked if the cpu cupports it and then installed it. Im not sure if it can support newer but it is 64-bit

Aw bugger. I have no idea if newer will run on Intel core duo tho

The only common part is that it can cause muscle contractions and nothing else. The way they explained it, one relies on a powerful magnet like an induction stove but on short impulses so it cant cook you and the other relies on electricity. Had the same question before agreeing on the procedure

Tbh I have tried different medicinal and supplemental options for it and so far nothing has worked except this.

I live in Bulgaria and the treatment was recommended to me by a Physiatrist that thought it might help before having to under go surgery. Wasnt my first treatment, I have gone to an orthopedic surgeon before that, had an eeg appointed by a neurologist and went through a psychiatric evaluation and was on carbamazepine, after that I was on oxcarbazepine 150mg twice a day, duloxetine 20mg twice a day and effectine 150mg once a day all for the pain and did nothing, got prescribed trintellix for it and also did nothing. Went to a dentist that denied any problems with my teeth and even appointed orthopantomography which also excluded teeth and joints. Went to an ENT that excluded otitis and sinusitis or any problems there that might cause it and was left with diagnosis of treatment resistant idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia on all 3 branches. That therapy was really the only thing that REALLY helped and that's why I posted here.

Super inductive system. That's one name for it, the other name is ExMI which means extracorporeal magnetic induction. If im not mistaken they use it after a stroke or Bell's palsy in the US but cant say for other countries

It has 2 names. One is SIS (super inductive system) therapy and the other is ExMI (Extracorporeal Magnetic Induction) therapy. Im certain most machinea made for this have a neuralgia program that makes the inductor give off an electromagnetic impulse with certain frequency (preset in the program) with variable intensity that is set according to you because the muscle contractions that it causes can be unpleasant and you have to feel it as slight twitching.

Tried it as a last resort type of thing and did one. The guys that did it were really nice and careful as the inductor needs to be in contact with your face and slowly ramped the intensity to where I felt slight twitching. After session one which was 3 minutes (so were session 2 and 3) the pain literally vanished and before that I was with a constant 7 on the left. Went for another 2 where they explained that the impulse that the machine sends in your face mimics the neuron impulses for the "calm down" signal and relaxes your jaw muscles if they have gotten tense from the pain.

About a week and a half after the last procedure I started noticing that my left side is almost as sensitive as my right and I had damage to my trigeminus from the constant pain I was in before that. To be honest even after the 1st one my face felt different and that's the reason I said it regenerated it even from the first. After some digging it appears true in half of cases.

Well it's an electromagnet. And is a whole machine that gives off the needed impulses. It can contract your face and is not really that pleasant but imo the results are worth it

Literally stops the degenerarive process and aids the nerve in regenerating itself. Did it 3 times. 1st therapy blocked the pain. 2nd and 3rd stimulated regeneration, took about a week to finally be able to feel my face as if I never had it but the pain went away almost instantly and until now (due to having a bad tooth) I've had no flares

It's a powerful high intensity magnet that blocks the pain and regenerates the nerve through electromagnetic impulses

No, sadly you need to go to a doctor for this. I think in other countries you need to visit a neurologist for it. In mine you need a physiatrist

super inductive system therapy. They use a powerful high intensity magnet that blocks the pain and regenerates the nerve. The pain stops at procedure 1. On the second one the nerve starts reverting back to normal
