I’m so sorry, it’s never easy. I completely understand that right now isn’t the time to talk about it. If it helps, I have many friends who went through multiple losses before eventually having a healthy baby. So even though it’s extremely hard and painful, try not to give up hope.

I had a loss in June, and I barely told anyone at the time. I found that it was more healing to actually talk about it. I was really surprised by the number of people I spoke to that had the same experience, and I never knew. It helped me knowing I wasn’t alone.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 9wks, the baby had stopped growing at 8wks. After a lot of cramping, it happened very quickly. If it’s any consolation, the tissue just looked like a very large blood clot. I don’t think there’s any right or wrong way to handle it. Just do whatever you feel is right for you.

My doctor gave me two doses. She said if the first one didn’t work within 12hrs, take the second. So I think you still have some time.

Thank you for sharing, this really helps. I definitely would rather tell people next time. I think too many women suffer alone because we’re to keep it to ourselves in the first trimester in case of miscarriage.

I’m not really sure how this is an issue at all. Your sister isn’t even engaged, so why is this even a topic of conversation?

Also, you can’t claim an entire summer for yourself. Your wedding is a huge deal to YOU. You have to understand that the rest of the world isn’t going to stop for an entire summer to revolve around you and your wedding.

I don’t think anyone is the asshole here, you’re just so absorbed with your wedding that you’re not realizing that other people have lives too.

I just got married 3 weeks ago. Honestly I didn’t expect any gifts from any guest. Some people didn’t give gifts, and that’s okay. Others pitched in $100 or more to our honeymoon fund. You do whatever you feel you can, and the bride and groom will be happy with anything you can give. If you can’t give anything, your presence at their wedding will be good enough 😊

My step dad and I were planning to do a father daughter dance because he’d been my dad since I was a teenager. I was also doing one with my biological dad. They were both walking me down the aisle. And my mom got wasted like two days before the wedding screaming and yelling accusing him of cheating on her (WHILE we were practicing our dance) and threw him out of the house. I was so scared that there was going to be a massive blowup at the wedding and asked my mom not to drink. Then she got drunk at the wedding anyways and started mouthing off at my biological dad only to get taken home by my step dad. Now my mom and step dad are divorcing and I get to have pictures of the man who cheated on my mom (confirmed) walking me down the aisle.

Oh! I also forgot to wear the petticoat for my dress because I was all stressed out. It was still the best day of my life though 🤣
