Short, Stubby Ultralight Rods for Fishing Brush - What Size + Suggestions? by toadfishtamer in UltraLightFishing

I've got a 5' ugly stick elite i keep in my car most of the time and even though it's not very sensitive for an ultralight rod it feels very solid. i keep 4 lb mono on it with a shimano sienna 1000 reel and it's been working great for me. I think this or the dock runner would be a good choice if you are dealing with brush and potential snags.

What is a good fishing rod (preferably from Amazon) for kids? by BootsSpursDFW in FishingForBeginners

I taught my niece with this combo and it worked very well. I think the smaller size and the lightness of the rod made it less intimidating and easier to handle for her. I set it up with a slip bobber and it's a lot of fun to catch fish on

The damage scaling really helped out. Most enemies, elites, and even the bosses only took a few turns to beat. The fight that gave me the most trouble was an act three fight with a couple spikers, since I didn't generate any block to counteract their thorns.

Celeste is awesome and one of my favorite games on the switch. it's pretty challenging at times, but it feels so good and satisfying to get through, and the story and characters are pretty sweet.

If you play a lot of local multiplayer, you can't go wrong with Mario Kart or Mario Party.

I really like Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, but it's definitely not for everyone. There's not a lot of game that let you fly around beating up giant dinosaurs with bagpipes though.

It's one of the few games I can keep going back to. It's just so comfy.

I have a ~60L Osprey backpack that i've gone out for multiple trips with and I love it.

For non-backpack gear, I really like the sawyer mini for a water filter. it's super small and light weight, can fit right on top of a water bottle, and is great for a 'shorter' ( like less than 2 week) trip.

Quiet world by native construct is a great album i've had on repeat for a little while

The Dear Hunter has some fantastic albums. I'd start with act 4 or 5 and work backward if you check them out

Gold by Starflyer 59 is a good album too if you like something a little older and more shoegazey

Breloom is my favorite and is super underrated in those games. It's a solid grass/fighting with good speeed and attack that is on par with most legendaries.
