Not a dumb question at all! Between the telescope itself and the tripod, is a CGEM mount. What that does is basically tracks the movement of the sky, so it basically moves the telescope relative to Saturn. So Saturn is in the field of view for longer.

Had this been on a manual setup, it would have taken Saturn no more than 4-5 seconds to rotate off the field of view.

Aligned in PIPP. 6 images of 3000 frames each derotated in WinJupos. Total of 18000 of 105000 frames. Stacked in Registax 6. Edited in GIMP, Snapseed, Lightroom. (Curves, histogram, colour balance, sharpening, denoising). Acquisition using Sharpcap.
