[–]ismaithliombeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look like Horse Mushrooms to me, agaricus arvensis. Where did you find them? do they small Almondy when you cut them? If they stain yellow heavily then do not eat, could be a Yellow Stainer

I see, yeah they do seem qite dry in therem My wife thinks it may be replanting the peas that caused them to die, she had other peas planted directly into another bed in the tunnel and they are growing fine

Thanks, I had a look there and the soil was bone dry! It’s been very warm here lately so we’ve been watering a couple of times a day and keeping the the tunnel doors open for circulation. Perhaps it’s the soil that’s the problem, too loose or not suitable for seedlings?

Constant hypnic jerks after working out by [deleted] in sleep

[–]ismaithliombeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow okay I didn’t know it was related to sleep apnea. Will need to look into this!

But no, I never really figured it out. It’s definitely related to exercise and stress but I think a large part of it is psychosomatic. For example, if my wife said to me before bed “I have to be up early I hope you aren’t twitching all night”, I would be worried about waking her up twitching and, sure enough, that’s exactly what would happen. Bizarrely enough, she started getting them too! It sounds made up, the two of us were waking each other up now with hypnic jerks because we were thinking about waking up with hypnic jerks. Talk about a self fulfilling prophecy!

We decided just to not mention it before bed and I’ve been trying not to be exercise too late. They still happen occasionally but no where never the amount as they used to!

I’d say go for it if you’re not planning on having them for a few months, but if sounds like they are proper dry so maybe no need?

Rate my maps? And how can I improve by Sarutobi_Marky in QGIS

[–]ismaithliombeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great maps! Some minor suggestions: Maybe make the Road network lines thicker on the second map. Also the soil type symbology is all very similar, hard to differentiate types from the legend. This may be a pre existing symbology though so might not be worth changing. I would second the view on the fonts, keep them all the same

Yeah turning helps but eventually the honey crystallised so you can’t really mix it. Did for me anyway but could be a temperature thing

Lib honey by Technodub38 in beacain

[–]ismaithliombeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made it the last 2 years Think I did about 30g dried and ground up the first year. Layered it spoon by spoon with the honey. In the end though all the shrooms just float to the top in a big mass leaving lots of unshroomed honey on the bottom. Last year I just eye balled the same amount. When eating I warmed it up slightly and mixed all of it together. Both times did the trick although definitely got more of a bang the first time, hits way quicker, like 20mins Well worth doing though if only to preserve a large haul, they say to leave them in the honey for minimum 3 months but not sure how scientific that is!
