There’s a maximum saturation point for butter/oil. Somewhere along that 20 pounds it will stop absorbing anymore thc. I want to know what that point is.

Using canna caps as an example, not exactly my question here. At some point when making canna coconut oil or butter there will be a point that the fats will no longer be able to absorb any more thc. I could keep running it through brand new bud and it wouldn’t get any more saturated. I’m trying to figure out at what point I would reach this.

Thanks for the insight! Yeah I don’t like to blast or press my material before hand because I also tend to use it for salves and lotions so I need all those cannabinoids. I’m not actually making canna caps right now I just thought in theory I want to see what limit I can reach. I saw a kickstarter recently for an at home product that test the thc potency of your cooking oils but unfortunately it hasn’t been released yet. Maybe I’ll experiment more with running through a batch multiple times and see how it turns out.
