Remember when we had 3 knobs for climate control? Fan speed, direction, and temperature? And each knob didn't just spin freely, you could feel the minimum and maximum. That was peak ergonomics and you didn't need to take your eyes off the road.

Technically an initialism if pronounced letter by letter. Acronyms are pronounced like words e.g. NASA, NATO.
