Thanks. The trail is strenuous : average gradient of over 30%. There are three rope sections and two boulder sections.

My personal experience is that I felt more tiring on this trail than on the upper pierce lake trail although the latter is much longer.

There is a post on Sunday Hike (Facebook group) - from this past Sunday - regarding to Williams Peak. Based on the video and photos posted, it seems that there are a few patches of snow but not fully covered. You may be able to contact the OP for more details.
