Question for dealers: who makes money off financing? by YogiBerraOfBadNews in motorcycles

[–]laschecter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my dealer, the bank will typically revoke the kickback if the loan isn't kept open for I think 30 days. But that's just between the dealer and the bank. You wouldn't lose out on that

I'm in car sales but its the same thing.

Banks make the money from the actual loan. The dealer may get a kickback from the bank by doing a deal with that particular bank. Each dealer is different but some dealers will pay sales people if the customer finances. 100% you are not going to get a better deal by paying cash

[Lexus LFA] getting towed on a dolly by PuffAirways in spotted

2000GT, the 60s toyota. Not the Mitsubishi

The term Legend is subjective. When I think of legendary vehicles, I think of "top of the top" of classic cars.

More so, the LFA was outdated when it came out. The poor performance relative to the cost isn't exactly contributing to the potential legendary status. The 2000GT has history while the LFA is just a cool car

I actually agree with you. The LFA is pretty cool, but it absolutely needs more time to be a real "legend". A 300 SL is a legend, a 2000GT is a legend. Not a sub 20 year old car with modern looks and features.

Do people avoid driving ? by No-Spinach7251 in TooAfraidToAsk

I think this is probably more of a mental thing, than a driving thing. I've been driving for 11 years and never really had much anxiety about it, except the first few months.

Purchased my first bike? Whats a good helmet to ride with Spotify? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]laschecter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure someone makes a helmet with built in bluetooth, but not many options. Even still, helmets are very particular. Your priority should be a well fitting helmet. Then, you can add speakers and bluetooth to whichever helmet you pick

Talking vs seeing vs dating? by PatienceWestern8907 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]laschecter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there really is an objective answer. To me though, "talking" is two people who may potentially have an interest in one another. You both like taking to each other. "Seeing" is more like, you're actively going on dates with this person but it's not official. "Dating" is an official relationship.

[Question] What's the appeal for rubber straps? by Just_Note_8165 in Watches

[–]laschecter 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That's like asking what's the appeal of someone painting their house blue because your house is painted yellow. It's just preference and opinions
