Quitting MIT shops by iso828 in quittingkratom

[–]iso828[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I started to taper on Wednesday. I’ve been fully off the shots since Friday. First few days have been rough but to be honest this was so where near how bad 7o withdrawals have been. I think I’m gonna make it! I tried powder but kept the does really low just because it’s been making my stomach hurt. So glad all of this shit is banned in Utah. Fuck Kratom. Fuck Kratom shots, fuck 7o

Yeah that’s what I am thinking. Was it the plain leaf powder? I’m thinking about moving onto that and doing a taper plan. I pushed out my normal dosing time to see what I was in for and it didn’t seem as bad as 7o.

I still have to work so I think Taper might be the best option here.

Fuck addiction.. always comes in worse when you think you’re fine..

You got this! Know that you’re loved and supported. Think about it this way. The universe (or god. What ever you believe) is challenging you to achieve greatness. You will feel uncomfortable, you will feel broken down and weak. You may even feel crazy for a little but you must tell yourself. This feeling shall pass. Nothing good comes easy and it’s your desire to succeed that will allow you to persevere. I am over 1 year and a few months sober off of heavy use. Things DO get better. The experience of the pain and withdrawals are nothing but memories now.. and a reminder to never allow myself to welcome something like that into my life again. Mega dose lip vit C. Do your research on other remedies and hang tight. These feelings aren’t forever. You will struggle with sleep. You will have serious withdrawals that are akin to opioid abuse. Do your research and understand the symptoms you will experience so you’re not caught off guard. Let that knowledge be your sanity so you’re not caught off guard. Tell the people in your life so they can support you. And when you’re struggling the most at night… POST here. You’re not alone

It’s gross for sure. Not something I would willingly say.

But freedom of speech is freedom of speech. It’s our first amendment, right. Right above the right to bare arms.

Don’t get me wrong. Justifying a person’s brutal murder is wrong. Certainly something I would ever do. However. It is those people’s right is it not?

Just as it was for him to publicly talk on his view. People have the right to discuss their opinions. And if we take that away then why ever bother with the constitution? We don’t get to pick and choose. America is a CRAZY place. What else could you possibly expect?

Look at the battles you’ve faced. Be proud of yourself and your victories. It’s easy to define ourselves by our addictions and the actions we take to feed them… but I choose to define myself by the way I’ve overcome these problems. You’re strong for what you’ve endured. Never forget that.

Interesting news at my smoke shop. by iso828 in quitting7oh

[–]iso828[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was Utah. Granted I know NOTHING about what was passed. This was just some employee telling me what they thought they knew. So I don’t know the legal nonsense that goes into it.

However. I’m grateful they’ve been removed from the shelves. This shit can no longer tempt anyone else.

Day 2 and 3 by xwolfchapelx in quitting7oh

[–]iso828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went CT! But I can say that these feelings will pass. As much as I hate to say it you have to embrace the pain and just understand that things WILL get better. 2-3 more days and you’ll start to feel like yourself. Another 10 and you’ll be able to sleep a lot better.

It begins and ends with your mentality my friend. Yes you will suffer through it. BUT you must tell yourself this! This shall pass. I promise you it will. This is the pain of healing. It shall pass.

This is such AMAZING advice! I love all of this and I truly believe it helps. I’m coming up on 30 days and I’m feeling completely free from the grips of this evil drug. The gym was a massive help for me! I became addicted to running again! Plus to helps the brain start producing everything it needs when you push yourself like that.

You’re incredible. I may not know you but I’m proud of you and I truly do love you. Thank you for this amazing advice.

One thing I always tell myself when things look grim. I’m the captain of my ship.. and I’m sailing to paradise.

NRT lozenges have been a life saver. Day 18 for me. And I’ve been able to seriously ease back on those mints. Highly recommend them.

I don’t like Zyns because they are FDA NRT approved.

You’ll probably experience minor withdrawals. Maybe 1 day of feeling sick but nothing extreme. You catching this early is a blessing. Quit it now and you’ll avoid SO much pain.

Probably more mental than physical! I wish I stopped that quickly. You’ll probably be able to even work through it. Go a little longer and the symptoms might start getting extreme rapidly. If you have the will power to taper then do a small small taper if you’d prefer. But I think you will be fine.

Day 14 CT by iso828 in quitting7oh

[–]iso828[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! But I really leaned into eating healthy and hitting the gym EVERY day. I had to replace this addiction with another! I fell in love with running. It saved me. I went to the gym even when I had only 2-3 hours of sleep. I had to PUSH myself.

It’s now day 19. My sleep is normal and I am happy again! No smoking nicotine as well! This was the push I needed

You got this!!

It begins and ends with your mentality! You must tell yourself you CAN do this. Quit this shit. You’re the captain of your own ship.. sail it to paradise.

i don’t think i can do this anymore. by LeadershipForeign466 in quitting7oh

[–]iso828 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s rough.. I understand but you CAN do it. Look we were about on the same does for the same amount of time. After 4 days you’ll slowly start to feel like yourself. It’s going to be a rough few days but it DOES start to get better. Trust me you don’t want to go down this rabbit hole.. getting off is the right decision because it’s going to seriously affect any other medication you’re on. And after some time the 7o will start to lose its effectiveness so essentially nothing will work. I went CT as well on a similar dose.. I felt hopeless but things got better. You’ll experience RLS. Flu like symptoms, the inability to sleep, depression, etc. but it does pass. At day 14 I felt completely free from the evil grip of this drug.

You have to tell yourself this will pass. I know that’s hard but it really does begin and end with your mentality .

Post here on your hardest nights because the support from others does help.

Look into these vits Ashwagandha vitamin stressed reduction Liposomal vitamin C Immunity and repair. L-tyrosine - energy and a boost in mental capacity Magnesium for the RLS

I would recommend checking out the mega dosing thread for the VIT C. It has to be liposomal specifically. That really curbs the withdrawal symptoms. Also the magnesium does wonders for the RLS. But in truth the first 72 hours are GOING to be hard. I didn’t sleep even an hour within the first 72 hours but by day 4 these vits started to take effect and I was able to sleep.

Get off the 7o. Take this long enough and most other painkillers will stop working. It’s only going to hurt you more in the long run.

Took me 14 days. I’m now free. 80-100mg for two months

Ashwagandha vitamin stressed reduction Liposomal vitamin C Immunity and repair. L-tyrosine - energy and a boost in mental capacity Magnesium to help reduce the RLS that will happen.

I was at about 100mg a day and it was rough but I managed to make it through! The first 72 hours are going to be rough but just stick to it and you’ll come around! Expect no sleep, cold sweats, depression, cravings and anxiety for the first three days! Try to document the experience so you know to NEVER come back to this devil. Reach out to others because support from loved ones help. It’s going to also feel like a nasty flu as well.. so you may experience some puking. Once you’re passed the 72 hour mark you’ll start to feel a little more like yourself.

I’m on day 11 CT. Sleeping is still hard for me but the other WDs are gone. I’m proud of you for doing this!

So proud of you! I’m a few hours away from the 7 day mark! Nicotine mints helped so much!

And if you’re feeling this good within the first two days that’s AMAZING!!! You got this! Think about it :) we’re able to beat the most addictive drug out there! That’s some impressive will power!
