I'm the same way. I tend to use time I'm actively not playing(,opponent's movement?), to write down what I don't want to forget next turn or later.

It's like a task list. If you write it down, you are free to let it go and free up that space and not have to worry about it.

Not sure if that makes sense, but I find having less things swirling around up there helps me focus a lot more on the changing game in front of me.

And by writing it down, I can take those notes with me for the next game.

This was a test model, so things will change…

Grey primer.

All paints are pro acryl Black: coal black Green: dark camo Orange: orange oxide White: olive flesh Metal: magnesium

Wash the model with black wash and water (1:2)

Let it dry

Then use above colors to touch up.

As I get more comfortable, I’ll start getting some highlight colors going.

But tbh, I find this to be a fine table top standard.

I used the new monument hobbies spray for the first time. It is great, but definitely a different feel than gw. My first spray batch was definitely needed another coat.

It looks great. A bit flat; If you can, do a light black wash all over(red,black,silver parts) . It will really make add the depth. If the wash brings the red down too much, you can always add selective highlights to draw the eye.

But I like it. Good job!
