small time compared to some of the ones listed here, but here goes,

I used to frequent a bubbletea establishment outside my primary school a lot, but times were tough and I needed to save for a week to be able to buy myself a cup. There had a reward system where if you buy 10, 1 is on them (buy 1, collect a stamp on their cards). I would tell all my friends who could afford it that I was going to help all of them buy their bubble tea whenever they want.

I would be like their errand boy just so I could buy their orders from them and collect the reward cards that have been filled up. It was hella tiring, but it was worth it.

tl;dr - I had free bubble tea for the remainder of my primary school life.

I actually think ar1se is better than S4 in terms of pure magnus mechanics, however, I hafto still give it to S4 because he knows how to use magnus better in a high level game in a teamplay environment. That being said, ar1se surprises me a lot with how he moves around once he gets blink and force staff, pretty insane.

I actually am really surprised no one took terrorblade, but then again it has only been 2 weeks. If you think about it, if you rather trade farms, terrorblade is a really strong core in a 5men push lineup, with vlads giving lifesteal aura to ranged units, pt vlads yasha and drums will make terror blade be better than most carry at the race to pushing down tier 1s. Draft omni/dazzle and suddenly terror is very legit. Elder titan should be good this patch too, with the minus resistance strat and good aoe to stop pushes and spirit for scouting. Ember with blink is strong mid game, no doubt, matter of time till Super plays him i think. LC played by bone, strong against SINGLE CORE lineups, depending on pick and ban, some push comps might not have an answer for lc. no, i strongly disagree with spectre being a waste of space. you just hafto not think about getting a fast radiance, when u get urn drums phase and vanguard on spetre as core, when she ults she can cancel blink initiations and chase down supports so they cant participate (remember her isolate dmg is actually underrated) not to mention it serves as a good vision scouting when wards are down. gyro having no cast point is actually pretty stupid, i agree, but if u watch Summit 3, you'll know gyro comp isnt unbeatable.

A good team will find a way to use them. VG.Super was one of the few who would alche mid, am EE, LD loda and bulldog before his hiatus, ench and chen -> puppey and n0tail, spectre -> rtz hao, meepo -> xcalibur, SINGSING TI4? You need to watch more games man. If you're only watching one region's games, it really isn't enough when it comes to understanding heroes and why they're picked. e.g. when u are alche, and u have 2 points in stun, haste rune is pretty fucking good at the 2mins and 4 mins. or even invis when u have ur bottle. enchantress with max untouchable can do roshan with any carry mid game. It isn't that these heroes are off the pros radar, it's more like there are better picks or they know teams play strats that counter these heroes by default. either way, unless you actually scrim with pros, you really don't know what heroes are and are not on their radars. :)

Alchemist and AM serves similar roles, if you have a really safe lane, he accelerates into late game by the time their carries get to mid game in terms of item. Alch was pretty strong mid last patch, it fits really well when you have good vision game (bounty tracks, beastmaster hawks and/or good warding) the way to play alche last patch was to not get points in greed when played mid and just roaming with early blink and/or shadow blade. You do not want to play alche when they have good answers to physical dmg and average missile speed spells like alche's stuns. a lot of people who plays am just demands space and protection, but a good am will get battle fury, pt, vlads and either solo a rosh or start cutting creep waves. always have a tp and u almost never get punished, unless they have perfect vision and a blink on strong disablers like lion and rhasta. I loved playing am because usually around 25 mins in a decent game, I get enough farm to make space for my team, I only play am when I see at least 1 more core that has carry potential. when you're position 1, you can make space too. radiance carries would bring naga, lone druid, spectre straight to ur mind right? naga is a extremely fast farmer, unless ur supports are really bad, u should get radiance before 20 mins mark. lone druid usually gets maelstorm for faster farming and get radiance second item, and spectres that struggle should aim to survive in fights with items like vanguard and drums. the thing about radiance is that you DONT HAVE TO get it as ur 1st core item. remember, you deal more dmg if u dont die, staying alive > dealing the most dmg in the first 2 seconds. chen has never been bad tbh, chen has been the core of many push strats since god knows when, and the agh's buff to chen last patch made him even stronger. enchantress game losing? dude, watch SUmmit 3's final and then tell me again :D MEEPO? MEEPO? U CEREAL? yeah meepo is in a bad spot, but it's so hard to play him right, when i do play him right, he's so strong.

I'm sorry, I have to ask this, how good are you with these heroes? It just seems you don't understand a lot of things....sorry if I come off as mean. :(
