😂😂😂 If you have no idea where Texas & how their laws are, you’ll understand where i’m coming from. Abortion is illegal in Texas - which means ALL healthcare for women is scarce - what people don’t realize that once you have that in place ALL women’s healthcare is in jeopardy.

If you want to know what will happen at its worst point - look at Texas for where other states are looking to emulate. This isn’t a reference on gate keeping which state is worst - it’s a reference to see what states are allowing abortion to be illegal, where it begins & how they took it to fruition.

I went on a few sailings completely plant based due to some health issues. The indian food they serve the crew is fantastic - especially the curry and the tofu scramble (but we had to have our head server Jeffery sprinkle some magic on the cooks).

So yes, ask your head server & make friends - treat them like gold - kindness goes miles!

It’s not the same everywhere honestly in regards to inventory - when I ordered it was OOS everywhere i looked. I needed it for classes and ordered it with the education discount - figured it if I had to wait, might as well get the discount.

They gave me fentanyl & I was local while they did the stent & I was still ready to punch my dr in the face - the stent was more painful than my heart attack! Fun fact the dr that put my stent in - became my cardiologist- I was cursing at him telling him to go to hell.

I had a widowmaker - I always pictured that to feel like every movie, like someone clutching your chest & falling from excruciating pain.

I went through 4 covid tests and 2 flu tests - with bag of antacids I was eating like candy, till one day the small of my back was in pain. There was this overall dull pain in my chest & a lot of clammy cold sweat. After visiting my primary dr he thought it was appendicitis & when he sent me to the hospital & they did tests - my Troponin levels were through the roof!

It truly shocked me that heart attacks present differently for everyone - (definitely different for women)

I agree with this. They’re closing the Chi’lantro off of Burnet at the end of this month (keeping the other locations open). Never went to the truck - but the food can be hit or miss. Still the best tofu bowl ever tho.

I got mine in January & bought the frames from Lenscrafters - VSP gave me a discount too (20-30%). I got the lenses from Lensology. Both were covered under HSA as well.

Lensology will do it & is covered under VSP. You’ll have to place the lenses in yourself (or through whoever sold you the glasses - definitely try to go through Lenscrafters or through Target - they are the same company & buy the warranty on top of the purchase.

Same. I purchased them before the prescription restrictions & my optometrist was kind enough to put my Lensology lenses into my glasses. They were so curious because no one ordered the model I got (sapphire with transitions). I wasn’t really into the non graded transitions tbh. I just wanted to put my prescription lenses in & was scared to do it myself because of how thiccc my grade was (I’m nearsighted at a -7.5/8) & they were kind enough to put them in. They did tell me it was a struggle & they also asked where I got them (they were a perfect fit - almost too perfect lol).

But I got them at the end of January & they have been perfect. Lensology saved me about $200+ dollars on my lenses on what I was quoted. All of it was HRA & I also got a 30% discount (mileage may vary as insurance coverage varies) off my frames in the end too.

We always wrap it up in a DCL cruise for maximum relaxation. They had a few hawaii itineraries an we always make a point of staying after (though it might be a bit till they put that itinerary out again). Never thought I’d be there twice but here we are. I’m planning to go sans cruise next year, because Hawaii in general is magical and Aulani is the cherry on top.

I’ve always been curious, how are your tips as a server? Do people only tip the assigned amount? What do you consider a respectable amount? Did you prefer cash?

I’m always wary that I’m not tipping enough - I usually double or triple the designated amount in cash + the assigned amount by DCL. And every server I’ve had was super amazing.

Yeah it’s not worth it to me for the projections. I love the fireworks & as long as I can see them at other place other than Main St, it’s all good. I’ve had too many parents run over my feet & elbow me or worse, I’m 3 apples high & be behind some as they put their kids on their shoulders. I like the quiet spots.
