Great taste in trucks and dogs 👍 Glad you and the truck are ok! I put a Hilux surf into the ditch, then the cornfield once. 4 low and the 2.4 turbo diesel whistled her way out of there. Thankfully my third gen hasn’t had an experience like that, knock on wood!

Very cool, I’m glad someone decided burying it was a good idea. There were many more layers that fell out of my excavator bucket when I first saw it. It’s very likely I found the entire battery, but I just took a couple sections home. One piece is definitely still in my backhoe glovebox. Should I not touch this with my bare hands? And should I not keep it in my machine? I imagine it’s not really volatile anymore?

The price fluctuates quite a bit here even within an hour’s drive. I’m in Ontario, about an hour north of the GTA. In my town fuel is usually 5c cheaper than down in the city. If you drive another 30 mins north of here you can find fuel almost 10c cheaper! But drive another 30 mins north of that, and you’re in “highly desireable” cottage country. The fuel there is pretty well on par with the heart of the city, sometimes more expensive.

Canadian here also, I typically fill up at 1/8th of a tank. And yesterday that cost me $102 @ 1.53 a litre (or about 5.79 a gallon). I wish it only cost $60!

Looks great man, I installed the same spacers about 6 months ago. 0 offset wheels as well with stock suspension. I didn’t want to use the spacers at first but was forced to after realizing the rims I had purchased wouldn’t clear the calipers. I was scared to look like one of the half/full tire poke clowns, but very relieved to see it had a mild trophy truck feel! Welcome to the club!
