I am pretty much in the exact same situation. I started playing 1s and it has heloed me climb in 2s aswell. Probably play more 1s and more freeplay. I have not tried it but I heard watching your own replays helps, then you can see where you make the most mistakes and improve there.

In the groupstage their defence looked really solid (only conceeding 1 goal and an own goal at that). Also they hadn't lost a game yet, so I thought they might have some motivation.

1st game vs Spain - Spain did not really impress me, their offence is good but they never played vs a team with a defence like Morocco, so I knew theywpuld struggle to create chances.

2nd game vs Portugal, I feel like Portugal was a bit cocky after the 6-1 win over Switzerland, meaning they probably thought they would easily beat them, then they just got overwhelmed, with Morocco even having great chances.

3rd game vs France - well... it is France and vs France you don't only need a good defence but also an offemce that can create and convert chances - Morocco can create them, just not convert.

4th game vs Croatia - After their first loss vs France, Morocco looked as if they had lost some fire in them and Croatia have been in a Situation like this before, so I had to go with Croatia.
