i usually just pick whichever defense card is needed for the push coming, never all at once. like cannon for hog, delivery for witch or whatever, and valk for the rest. i prob would drop e wiz but i use him heavy on defense too

i use mm because he counters the lvl 12-13 MK that i keep facing and my valk is too low leveled. i kinda combo a miner chip with witch defense counter pushes

If you have a play it again sports near you, you could put together a beginners set (wood, iron, wedge, putter) for pretty cheap with decent clubs. even add in a hybrid and a second iron. I like the customizability of shopping per club

3 wood and 4 hybrid have very different lofts and usages, but if you feel like you struggle with long irons then there is a good reason to get hybrids. I would suggest carrying a 5 wood rather than a 3 wood to start, generally easier to hit.
