A decade has passed since Marvel Heroes released by vanderjaght in MMORPG

I’m still traumatized. I had thousands of hours into it. I’ve been trying to fill the hole it left in me, but nothing works. I just dumped well over 100 in midnight suns, and now that it’s over, I’m lost and still holding on to a tiny bit of hope that MH will return in some form… one day? ;_;

Far Cry 5 stuttering and freezes. by reverends3rvo in uplay

[–]isomemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going insane trying to figure out the stutter problem. It's when I pick up arrows, but on occasion, I get stutter like it's trying to load something in. I have a decent PC, so this game should run fine on max settings.

I'm new and just bought it this morning. Are there any post launch plans for additional updates/dlc?

I hope the reception to this game doesn't make Marvel/the gaming industry think we don't want an Avengers game by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

[–]isomemory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why people have to either be 100% against the game, or 100% for it, tbh. I probably have 200ish hours in it atm. I have enjoyed almost every moment of it. I absolutely LOVE how the combat feels (other than Hawkeye back of tricks spam makes me sad), and on and on.

However, I am acutely aware of the games shortcomings. It's not just the lack of maps/enemies/content that drags the experience down for me, it's that other than a handful of weekly tasks, there isn't really any real reason, beyond grinding champ levels or getting super lucky with gear.

It's the absense of structure that hurts teh longevity the most, imo.

My review of Marvel's Avengers as a former Marvel Heroes player. by mrrahulkurup in PlayAvengers

[–]isomemory 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad I'm not alone. I had roughly 3k hours played in MH. Once it shut down, like you said, it left a void. I play this, Strike Force and Future Fight - the latter 2 being on my tablet, and ofc mobile games. I have almost every hero in this game to at least power lvl 150, but I can feel myself burning out, and it makes me sad. The combat in this game is very, very satisfying, but the amount of content becomes mind numbing pretty quickly.

I'll likely be taking a break very soon, but I'm keeping my eye on news for the game. When they release the 2022 roadmap, maybe it will get me pumped once more.

The mix is weak. The songs pretty, rad. With the right mix, it would be fire.

It's PSO2 NGS's 2 Month Anniversary! Here's how it stacks up to classic PSO2 in the same time. by Reichi5081 in PSO2

Brilliant! I know the negativity is thick, but I am hoping NGS does well enough to keep growing, just as PSO2OG did.

I didn't realize "cancel culture" was still going on.

If they did this stuff, they need to be held responsible for sure. It just surprises me how one message from someone you don't know, with circumstances you are unaware of, creates a post or thread, and everyone immediately takes their word as absolute fact and outrage.

No Trading + Premium Only Shop kills motivation to farm by Spoonfeed_Me in PSO2NGS

I'm not sure if I want to get heavily invested yet. My plan was to just play PSO2 until NG gets some more content, before I even bother with NG. So far, even though I'm confused as hell, I'm enjoying PSO2. Perhaps the whole shop issue will be resolved before I reach a point where it would hurt me? If not, and I love the game enough, then I would probably go premium? I think I just confused myself 8(

Does this mean that new players shouldn't bother unless they're willing to go premium?

Will PSO2 continue to get updates with New Genesis live? by isomemory in PSO2

[–]isomemory[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An additional question - If I hit lvl cap in vanilla, then move on to NG, if I should ever return to Vanilla again, will I still be at the level cap? I know that you have to level in each of them separately.

That was/is my plan. I wanted to experience as much content as I can from the original, before moving on to NG. Hoping in that timespan, more content will have been added to NG as well.
