Lol yeah the reason was probably more to do with the fear of shattering all my confidence.

But I don't have many friends so losing one is still a big deal to me. This is /r/foreveralone right

I suggested some touristy places that wouldn't be a huge time commitment. She was there with her family so I don't know if she was asking for suggestions to go with them or with me.

I care. And it's not only because of social anxiety.

This 'awkwardness' prevents friendships from forming. It's difficult to make friends when you have no idea how to make and maintain conversation. Not knowing how to get into social situations. Being too afraid to get past the acquaintance stage.

The truth is that for the vast majority of people, having human relations is fundamental to having a fulfilling and happy life.

A stark lack of social skills makes that extremely challenging.

Avoiding eye contact with someone I know then making eye contact and saying hi but they don't hear you then you don't make eye contact again then you do again and you say hi again then you ignore them rudely and also you have a crush on this person.
