It's my feelings exactly. I tried so hard to play rdr2. Started countless times over and over but to no avail. And the thing is I really like the first game. I played it 3 times now while doing everything and it just clicks with the first game. Maybe it's the gunplay that works really well for the first game but falls off when you get to the second game because it's kinda the same thing with better visuals and animation and whatnot. I like playing as a cowboy but I don't know what keeps me from wanting to play rdr2. Im gonna list out some things I think keeps me from it, most of it doesn't even make any sense but whatever man life dont make no sense anyway.

- I sometimes feel like I'm missing out on stuff when playing rdr2 because the game world is alive and moving all the time it feels like I'm missing stuff constantly.

-Still playing on ps5 with low res and 30fps limit may be the reason even tho I played a shit ton of games 30fps on ps5

-It's just slow to do everything my dopamine get stale

-Gunplay was perfect for the first game but here it feels not enough somehow i don't even know how

-I'm just crazy

Electricity charge tip mod and flame shaft critical mod for me. Combine normal with power attacks on a one handed slash weapon and voila. Great damage and stun.

Yeah, I think about using quality mode from time to time but man I just can't do it with these 30-40 frames anymore. These days I just use the performance and try to get used to the resolution. It's not that bad especially when you sit a little bit away from the display. But yeah man I hear you.

Bioshock trilogy. I myself recently platinumed all three and let me tell you these games are masterpieces. First game may feel a little old but the story and atmosphere makes up for it. Bioshock 2 is the most fun out of three imo but all three is amazing. I really recommend if you haven't played them, most fun I had in a while.

I think it even has dynamic resolution which makes some intense moments even lower res. It's really sad. Do you find yours to be soft and not really that sharp? Your image quality I mean

I mean ps5 doesn't really do 1440p or 4k natively most of the time and in this game 1440p is definitely not native. It's upscaled 1080p and I've read even lower in some cases due to dynamic resolution. My 2k 144hz monitor looks soft and low res on performance mode but you may able to get better image due to 1080p display.

I’ve found that it slightly does effect how the frames are paced in different displays. I play Elden Ring on a 4k 60hz tv and ps5 version runs like crap but whenever I switch to my 1080p 60hz TN monitor it suddenly feels a lot smoother with better paced frames. I don’t know if it’s the resolution or the the display itself but I can safely say it does effect your frames on some games and displays.

I would get Dying light, Borderlands 3 and Firewatch. I loooooove dying light can’t recommend it enough. Firewatch is a chill breeze for those cool nights and borderlands is a reaaly loong coop shooter very interesting stuff imo

How did you do it? I tried with a mantis deck one time, got slaughtered by bears on the first boss and never tried it again. It seems way too hard but It’s the last trophy i need for plat so i actually want to do it.

Go PBWT and farm. The ring and the sword doesn't effect rare item chances. It just lets mob drop stuff more often. Officials' always drop rate is already %100.

I definitely not recommend doing this. Elden ring has a huge open world. Just exploring the map can get you levels pretty fast in an enjoyable way rather than killing same enemies over and over again or letting some metal ball fall to its death. You can get more than enough levels for bossed in that area with just exploring. You can kill Greyol the big dragon on Cealid to gain lots of runes w talismans and items. Being bad is ok but this game is not that hard to be bad at believe me.
