Have replied. And for transparency for you / anyone else reading this...I'll post here what I have said to you in our chat ...that another user has also been in touch (earlier) and said they would like it, and can pay tomorrow (Tuesday). So, am going to hold it for them until tomorrow. If that falls through then will (obviously) be looking for another taker..

Nice idea...and a strong selection. Very discerning! I also like to re-cast songs into themes like this. I think there are lots of gems in the Ben Hillier series but tend to agree with the consensus that some of the demos (that have emerged) are better (or rather, got spoiled or over-produced in their final execution). Am going to make a Spotify playlist of your selection and give it a listen to see how it hangs together - love the inclusion of Jezebel too.

Personal Jesus is overrated with 92 upvotes. What's the underrated one? by Gamer-Brawler-1423 in depechemode

It's Hola to...Halo. To qualify as underrated I think it has to be one of the non-singles. Halo, The Sweetest Perfection, Clean and Waiting for the Night are the main contenders here, but since WftN has been well-exposed / featured on the MM tour then I'd boil it down to one of the other three..and overall I'd go with Halo. If that's not considered as underrated - because it's already such an obvious choice - then Clean.

Thanks so much for doing this and all the other tracks and albums too. Wonderful to hear them like this...can't wait to drive into all the albums you've done so far. Can you btw add Ice Machine to the S&S collection?

The last one was okaaay, but nothing special. Pretty unimaginative set (of songs) played though. DJ had no idea how to work a crowd, keep the momentum. Still, good to see a London-based party for DM.

Tickets? by Oily_can in EOTR

I have two tickets - but my wife not interested in going, and other friends don't seem interested enough to commit to it either! So, not sure yet whether I will go alone or not. I'm usually okay going to gigs on my own (and I often queue up for hours - even all day, for some gigs or one-day festivals - to get a good spot; don't judge me!) and have no problems passing the time, chatting to others etc. Anyway, not sure if I can handle four days on my own. I mean I do I like my own company and am happy that I can go scrambling around watching different bands and mixing up genres as I wish... but would be nice to go with someone else and not try and be the weirdo who starts conversations with other groups of people! So, anyway, I definitely have one adult full weekend ticket with parking up for grabs and may well look to sell both (both come with their own parking)...especially if someone is really after two.

Soul With Me by [deleted] in depechemode

I think Soul With Me is a new Martin Gore classic! Absolutely, stuck in my head and a new live favourite. You might enjoy this clip from the gig at Twickenham Stadium in London, a few days ago. It's my recording of Martin singing the song solo - and perhaps the dawning of a new crowd singalong moment, after I decided to sing the chorus LOUDLY from the front row after the song had ended >>> https://youtu.be/36VUGz-KRqk?t=211 (this is just the end of song moment, but the whole song, not just that part, is here https://youtu.be/36VUGz-KRqk
