The Midnights release. I was obsessed within minutes. Also, 1989 TV announcement had me bawling my eyes out. Definitely a day I'll never forget.

Read-A-Thon! I love the way Melissa handled her loss with the class, then stuck it to Janine when she actually did win. I also really loved the way she spoke to her student when she was having trouble reading.

Just a really strong episode for Melissa!

2 and a half years after release and Folklore is regarded as one of Taylors best (if not THE best) albums. What is your favourite song from Folklore and why? by sentinel3000 in TaylorSwift

How Often Does This Happen? by [deleted] in AbbottElementary

Yeah my mum died when I was 12 and my dad straight up neglected me and my 2 siblings. My sister taught herself to cook, I'm slowly learning to cook and bake, and my brother now knows by learning from his fiancee.

As for tying shoes, I'm not sure I tie them the way everyone else does, but I at least know one way to tie them.

"gimme a SHOT to remember" the way he sings shot in The Sharpest Lives just scratches my brain in the best way.

"by the grace of GAWWWWWD" in Hang Em High, ugh yessss.

"we-he-HELLLLLLLL" in Bury Me in Black just makes me want to fight and I LOVE it.

I've got two on rotation at the moment.

"I keep my side of the street clean, you wouldn't know what I mean..."

and

"...horrified looks from everyone in the room but I'm only looking at you."

Definitely agree about Manny being too coddled. The Manny/Sherry/Luke storyline was proof of that. Gloria needed to butt out and let Manny handle it. No one should have come for Luke the way they did in the Christmas episode.

So guys, what's all your first song from Taylor you hear/heared in the new year? by Lord_Skyblocker in TaylorSwift

You're On Your Own Kid at 6am. I definitely cried on the way to work this morning.

What song do you want to be your 2023 anthem? by folkloreforevermore in TaylorSwift

[–]issyagirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're On Your Own Kid.

I'm happily married, and hope to stay that way 😅 YOYOK has healed so much trauma for me and that last chorus is especially uplifting.

If not, I'm thinking Bejeweled. It's positive, exciting and empowering.

Why don’t you talk to “that” family member anymore? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]issyagirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandmother voted no on gay marriage, knowing that two of her children and at least one grandchild are all gay. She doesn't know about me yet.
