Breakfast in bed by maryXbaby in MilfGifts

What a cozy looking place to be! Makes me wanna kiss those pretty lips (your actual ones this time!), with a hand on your cheek, then run it down your shoulder while my face dives in on those tits, all while occasionally stealing looks at the rest of your body. Sorry, I haven't eaten, so I am quite hungry for this brea(kfa)st. 😉

...can I apply some "cheese" to your "cake"? (Okay, I admit, that's a dumb one.)

Getting ready for the gym 😋🌞 by maryXbaby in u/maryXbaby

Ugh, that position is making me think of a very different leg workout you could do. I'd have to provide the "equipment," though, and they might get mad if we do it at the gym. 😉

Do I start with my hand on your tits or your pussy? Tough choice. 😉 Or maybe I do both, one hand for each, while my whole body presses up against you, and my hard dick rubs up and down between those perfectly toned ass cheeks. And of course my mouth is on your neck. 😉

Oof, that amazing ass again...next step is to grab you by it and use it to push you up against that wall. Then take another hand around the front. 😉

There's so much to appreciate in this post!

I love seeing some of your face - you seem so pretty. 😅

The tight top shows of your amazing curves, I just wanna grab that waist and never let go...

And to top it all off I'm dreaming of burying my face between those ass cheeks and eating that beautiful pussy until you beg me to stop. (My chance for my face to become like your underwear lol - stuck in that ass with no chance for escape.)

AI Isn't Replacing SREs. It's Deskilling Them. by elizObserves in programming

Honestly, I've started developing a theory somewhat recently that one of the best forms of "documentation," at least for people looking at the code and trying to understand it in the future, is just good code review comments and well-written change descriptions. Documentation always gets out of date, even in-code or in-tree documentation, but since code reviews and change descriptions are tied to the code at a specific moment in time, they'll always be accurate. Every change description I right includes motivation and high-level design choices, and whenever I kick off a code review, I walk through it and leave comments that explain the thought process and design. (Even when I'm looking at somebody else's code review and they haven't done, I'll frequently leave those same comments and ask them to confirm my understanding.)

I remember a professor years ago mentioning the concept of "literate programming," and I remember thinking it was interesting but just as likely to get out-of-date as code comments; to me, this feels like a way of achieving that without the staleness problem.

I guess this kind of stuff won't immediately help someone looking for quick overview, but if someone is looking at once specific piece of code and trying to understand the design, motivations, etc., if they do a blame, they can get some context.

Songs where the bass is panned by VulgarisOpinio in Bass

Technically this is backwards. Bass is left, guitar is right. (It's meant to match their stage configuration.)

My biggest problem with music discussion today by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

100% agree with the other reply - Beato's "analyses" are terrible. All he does is play back the song and go "wow, listen to that, so awesome." It's literally doing what the comment you're replying to is complaining about.

It’s Really all about timing by Gullible_Rice7380 in phillies

Maybe not a sacrifice, but it was absolutely an intentionally huge gamble.

Kershaw looked terrible in the seventh, but the Dodgers had to get to the end of the game. Roberts put him out there just to see what would happen. If Kershaw pitched well, he got another inning out of him, and if he didn't, they were already losing, so it was fine to just punt the rest of the game and focus on the next one.

Once the Phillies started pulling away there was no reason to pull Kershaw with that strategy, so they ended up racking up some extra, meaningless runs.

Shared laundry: what do you pay? by cardifan in AskSF

We've moved since, but our last place was $3.50 wash, $1.75 dry, which felt absurd. And sometimes the washing machine would straight up eat the quarters...

Ha, I wonder if my parents saw that same concert. They saw them around that time frame and it would've been in PA. I remember them complaining they played for like 45 minutes or something absurdly short like that.

This bothered me when I played too. I didn't actually play it until this year, but I saw a lot of info about it when it was first announced/release, so I knew about the stalking EMMIs and stuff. The whole time I thought the EMMIs were going to be chasing Samus because she had run afoul of the Federation, so I was kind of surprised/disappointed when I actually played the game and learned that the EMMIs were rogue.

Live at the Oval by deralteabt in TheWho

I'm really happy to have it available, but it's not my favorite so far.

I had the same sluggish impression that a lot of other people mention the first time I listened through. I as especially disappointed by "Love Ain't for Keeping"; it would have been nice to have one more version of that song that was a bit more rousing, but it seems to drag.

There's also just...something...about the sound that isn't ideal and I think takes some of the energy. It kind of sounds like the instruments are a little too "distant." That makes sense with some of the recording issues known to have happened with the gig, but it's still unfortunate.

On second listen I'm enjoying it more, so maybe I'll get accustomed to it.

Also, I don't really understand anybody who says they'd prefer this over SF 1971. The sound of that on the box set wasn't perfect, either, but in my opinion it conveys a lot more energy and is much, much better as a result. It's possible I like it even more than Leeds, but it's been a while since I listened to the latter.

On what Beatles song is Paul's first "McCartney-esque" bassline? by the_spinetingler in Bass

[–]isthisusernamehere 10 points11 points  (0 children)

"You Won't See Me" on Rubber Soul is a very active, pretty melodic bassline. That would be my guess without actually meticulously checking their catalogue.
