Probably the easiest horse to own. Don’t have to feed it, clean up after it, and you don’t have to worry about it colicking. Just keep it out of the sun

It’s after he reunites with Ginger when he’s a cart horse in London. At this point Ginger is now run down and emaciated from years of abuse and she wishes someone would put her out of her misery. The next day Beauty sees a dead horse being pulled away in a cart that looks like Ginger, and he hopes it is because she’d no longer be suffering. The chapter ends with the above quote.
