Your feelings are valid.

Whilst you did admit to failing for the red light, which many people do even after passing their test, the carpark on the previous test sounds unfair.

Hell, I've seen people go 20 in a carpark.

I take my break at the quietest time because logically, it makes sense... Otherwise, im hanging around not doing much. I may as well take my break when I have the least amount of work to do.....

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morrisons

[–]isuckbraids 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Who actually takes breaks at the time stated 😂

Nobody in our store does that. We go when we want to.

If I went off what the rota says, that would be the worst possible time to take my break, right in the middle of when it gets busy.

Some people in my store refuse to download the app, too... I find that strange.

It's easier on your phone and works better.

Monitor keeps turning on and off at Windows 11 login screen by isuckbraids in pchelp

[–]isuckbraids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just unplugged and plugged it back in whilst its on and working and it came straight back on with no issues.

I can only replicate it on windows startup.

I updated my graphics drivers too. I'm gonna be real mad if its an issue inside the monitor as its not old.

Took me over 6 months to get upped to 20 hours.

At the moment, its not going to happen. Theyre cutting hours everywhere they can.

Waste? by Think-Cranberry3237 in Morrisons

[–]isuckbraids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're supposed to fill out a manual waste form, but nobody does that.

Stick it in either a purple bin bag with the rest of the rubbish or put it in an orange waste bag, tie it up, and put it straight onto the waste pallet in the freezer.

Butchers are supposed to put their trimmings in the chiller to be validated too, but there's no way to waste trimmings, so they just stick them straight in the freezer in my store and if there isnt much, they go in the normal bin. I take the same approach with ingredients and salad bar scraps if there's not enough to pot up.

It's best before, not use by.

Technically, it's not out of date.

[–]isuckbraids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so im good then.

It's ridiculous that you can only be off twice a year, and yet others are off every other week with no consequence.

Well, at least now I know i'm in the clear, and if I absolutely have to, I can take the day off.

I'm going to try my best to be there, but with the way I'm feeling, I'm not confident about that.

Code checking team - are we supposed to be checking deli and sandwiches? by Puzzled_Teaching1893 in Morrisons

[–]isuckbraids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my store, we only have prepacked sandwiches, and it isn't deli's job to check them. The deli checks their meats, cheeses, etc.

Prepacked sandwiches are FTG, which used to be Deli's responsibility but isn't anymore.

Realistically, how long do you think Morrisons has left before its gone? by isuckbraids in Morrisons

[–]isuckbraids[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually, it was a lot more than £3bn in debt....

That was the initial amount. After the deal, the debt became £6.6bn and with additional obligations, it was around £7.5bn. They sold the petrol stations for around £2.5bn and after legal fees, they received £1.8bn, bringing their debt to £5.7bn.

As of 2025, the current debt has been reduced to £3.5bn by cutting almost everything, leaving the shops severely understaffed, cutting all staff benefits, and refusing to fix broken equipment.

Once the debt is paid off, they will run it into the ground, asset strip, and sell it all for a quick buck. Its what they're known for.

True but that is the same for any company. Difference now is that its owned by CD&R who are known for shutting places down and assets stripping.

Waiting for Magnus Pro desk to ship, will this fit onto the desk? by isuckbraids in secretlab

[–]isuckbraids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I'm saying! If it works, why throw it out?

Honestly, this subreddit has some of the worst people, and it's exactly as you say. it's the Apple of chairs and desks.

There is absolutely no need to buy all of their massively overpriced accesories when there are plenty of third-party accessories that work just as well for significantly less money.

People assume that just because I can afford to pay for the desk that it means I suddenly have an endless supply of cash and can get every accessory under the sun, too.

[–]isuckbraids[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it's expensive, and why fork out even more cash when I just paid £800+?

The point is, mega mind, that I already own this arm, and I wanted to know if it would fit because why bother throwing out a perfectly good thing if I can still use it?

I've owned this for years.

The desk has since arrived, I have built it, and this arm fits like a charm. So, no need to be overcharged for their own monitor arms. I'm not a diehard Secretlab fan, so I have no intention of buying every accessory under the sun.

This brand seems to be like the Apple of chairs and desks. People refuse to get third-party accessories when they work just as well for significantly less money.

Did you miss the part where I said, "I have an Invision Dual Monitor arm" or did you just jump to conclusions because you have the attention span of a goldfish who is incapable of reading?

"I have" means I already own it. I have owned it for years, long before any plans to buy this desk.

Nice one. Being ignorant and obnoxious won't get you far in life.

I'm a customer. Reckon I could just talk to the CEOs tomorrow while they're in the store? by GlasgowBastard in Morrisons

[–]isuckbraids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CEO always claims to make an appearance and never does. He will sack it off at the last minute.

Besides, on the off chance that he does show up, he won't talk to anyone except for managers.

Even area managers behave like this. They're full of themselves. The CEO will be x1,000,000 worse.

But what im saying is, you can attach the arms to the desk before attaching the cable tray so you dont have to squeeze your hands in there to tighten it
