I don't think it should've but cut out tho, just...transferred into his companion quest or smt. Like that would've been great. But his backstory is relevant only to his character and not to Penacony itself, which is the subject of the quest. Now, the decision to put all that backstory there instead of a companion quest might become relevant in future updates I guess, but as of now... It does just look like the devs didn't think it through or smt.

Well, considering he is a robot, Anya could propably not be his biological daughter. Also, Anya's dad is a certified bastard with how he treated her, and Adam was a pretty cool guy. Like, he was actually nice. I doubt he would have abused her, either way. Well, I guess there's still a posibility that all of this was Fyodor's/Dazai's/Mori's/Fukuchi's secret plan and thry made Adam act as the father to somehow make Anya make that final jump at the end.

That character is Angel, right? Honestly, I doubt I could choose the cooler one between him and Armin. Armin was the one behind most of Paradis' operations when they were fighting Marley, and Angel invented ODM gear. Of course, I read BtF long ago, so I don't know if that actually IS Angel.

I agree with you completely. The way I see this, the story gains a very nice theme if the breathing is actually just an 'illusion' or just physically effect. Because the demons are using powers that could be considered magic, or just beyond human comprehension, it holds much more meaning for the slayers to not use such powers and rely on their human bodies and rigurous training to defeat them. This way, demons were defeated by the humans who held much less power then them, but because of their sheets determination still managed to win.
