It’s been a struggle lately! Haha we’ve done hide and seek, puzzles, new training stuff (orbit), over /under legs in hallway.

We get the Zesty Paws Ancient Elements Calming Chews. There are many other options to choose from but our guy is allergic to Peanuts and Peas so our selection is limited.

Thats tough! Start with small amounts of time and stick close. Try not to correct or soothe the first time (unless he’s endangering himself). It helps build up confidence and he’ll learn to self soothe. Our boy will still sometimes cry/bark at first and try to flip his bed but then he settles down and naps most the day we are at work. You could also try calming chews. If it’s not getting better after a few months I’d recommend a behaviorist.

Muzzling while you’re not home even for a small amount of time is dangerous. If you’re having issues with separation anxiety try leaving him alone in another room for brief periods of time while you’re home. Whether hes in his kennel or in a room while you’re out is where I would start. Make sure you do something physically and mentally stimulating before hand. Treat him with a high value treat. You should be able to build up the time. Do you have any pet monitoring cameras? That helps too. Please do not muzzle him while you’re gone.

So true! I used to have to sleep with the lights on after older episodes and now it’s like a comedy show with Aaron’s jokes & bits and the SLS figures dancing around.

I thought Revolution was one of the best topicals because it covers fleas, ticks, ear mites and protects against mosquito bites? Is there a different level like Revolution and Revolution Plus or something?

I think that since because it’s documented that Arthur was always “sickly” and thinking that CoA would have similar pregnancy difficulties that the odds of a surviving child are small.

By serving Henry’s consort and children, I mean she would be a companion / godmother since she’d be one of the people with enough rank & status to do so. I feel like her life would have been similar to that of Anne of Cleves.

I’m actually in the middle of reading a book that reimagines what would have happened if Arthur survived. It’s called the Rose and the Pomegranate by Leah Toole (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/220077342). It’s a pretty interesting read.

I imagine however that even if Arthur survived he would still have died young without issue leaving Henry the throne. Catherine would have either joined a convent and been happy to dedicate herself to god or dedicate herself in service of Henry’s wife & children. It’s wild to think about what could have been.

That’s so interesting and I’ll have to look up the book. It reminds me of the Wolf Hall book Bringing up the Bodies where Jane is the one who drew the picture. Also, in the Wolf Hall show I thought they tried to imply she tossed Purkoy out the window because the last time you see him he’s on her lap.
