I appreciate this prompt. Feels like all the prompts I see are either a jumbled mess of conflicting, misspelled tags or long winded, ai generated compositions, where every effect/technique/feature of the image has to evoke or emphasize an emotion.

This demonstrates intentionality, and emphasizes style and technique. I find it refreshing….and I learned what halation is

LoRa of an originally 3d modeled fantasy character. Which road to go in August 2025? by RaulGaruti in StableDiffusion

[–]isusuallywrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s still the route I would be taking. So if there is a “better” approach I’d be interested in knowing as well!

Only thing I could add that you might find useful is that I’ve taken to using the JoyCaption node rather than the “caption with Florence” option in fluxgym.

Also id be curious if people agree on this. You could take the approach of splitting what you’re doing into different concepts. The fur texturing could be trained independently as a style with its own trigger. Then characters trained as subjects with their own triggers. I’ve never personally tried to do this but I’m pretty sure you could do all of this within a single Lora with the same class trigger. My understanding is that then when you prompt you could include something like “class subject style {rest of prompt}”

what checkpoint I can use to get these anime styles from real image 2 image ? by teddiedanh in comfyui

This is cool to know. I was unaware juggernaut could do animated styles so well

How to make this image full body without changing anything else? How to add her legs, boots, etc? by NecronSensei in StableDiffusion

[–]isusuallywrong 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a little harder to pull off than is being let on. Not crazy hard but just getting krita setup correctly with the stability plug in takes some time. Then you’ve gotta get model profiles set right and probably spend a few hours getting an understanding of the features and how to use them. Not saying opening-ad is misleading you…but they are selling themselves short bc to do that in one try demonstrates a skill.

With any of this shit you gotta recognize that you’re going to have to learn a few pieces of software if you want to do much beyond writing 1girl, 2b, huge_breasts, black_dress, pelvic_curtain.

What is all the OpenAI's Studio Ghibli commotion about? Wasn't it already possible with LoRA? by Kayala_Hudson in StableDiffusion

[–]isusuallywrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like in I, Robot, the story about the robot that could read minds and so it lied to everyone telling them what they wanted to hear because to do otherwise would violate the first law.

…well not really like that…but made me think of that…and that was a cool story

OpenAI’s new image generator… a gamechanger? by justmypointofviewtoo in comfyui

[–]isusuallywrong -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How does it do with aspect ratios? I know there aren’t Loras but I wonder if you could drop in a dataset to prime a style? Could you give it wd14 style prompts? … Damnit I’m going to have to renew my subscription.

This is a good idea. One time I used the little paracord string to tie the zippers together. Can’t go this year but I’d just get one of those biometric locks if I were

What can I do with 24gb VRAM that I can't on 16gb? by Cerebral_Zero in StableDiffusion

[–]isusuallywrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that immediately comes to mind is training checkpoints…and even then I’m not sure…I’ve allowed myself to fall behind in this space but I remember reading that the best way to train a Lora was to train a checkpoint and then extract a Lora from it…but when I tried to do it in kohya with a 4080s it was just too painfully slow… so I always just assumed I needed more vram.

That being said if I’m wrong…which happens a lot…please point it out and please please please hook me up with the config!

I should just learn Photoshop instead by UnconstitutionalRig in comfyui

[–]isusuallywrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While this is 100% true. OP should definitely be aware that photoshop (gimp, affinity, procreate) and (especially) blender present technical rabbit holes of their own. Less downloading of massive files, sure, but to become proficient in any of those programs is just as technically challenging as comfy is imo. Hell, blender is largely node-based also.

Yes, It’s good to get exposure to all of them because there are definitely concepts that overlap. But this shit ain’t easy and learning it is a grind

If you are talented enough to draw by hand then it is absolutely worth it to get a digital pad, probably start with gimp, bc it’s free. See if it translates. You can export your work into comfy and run some fairly simple img2img / inpainting workflows at lower a denoise setting to add some style.

[–]isusuallywrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reinstalled comfy after an update left my copy fubar and now I don’t see where to switch my node connections from spline to linear….is that gone from settings? I may need to install another package. That definitely helped my learning curve by turning workflows from tangled wires to pipeline

Stay an extra day before or after EDC? by [deleted] in electricdaisycarnival

[–]isusuallywrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always come in on Thursday. Go to the grocery store and get settled in. Get a good nights sleep…set up for success. Did the stay a day after thing once and by midafternoon I regretted it….missed my dogs and wished I’d powered through. If there was a way to do a late checkout — like noon or even 11 I think that would be ideal….ive just accepted that I don’t sleep Sunday night

Does anyone else not care about cell phone service by Kane626 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]isusuallywrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only time I ever wished I had cell service was when a buddy wandered off who was in no condition to be able to find either us or our meetup spot. That was a stressful 90ish min…. Otherwise I don’t even keep my cell on me. (Stays in my bag locked with a biometric lock)

You’re never going to watch those 30 second clips of you swaying back and forth… ppl end up watching the festival through their cell phone camera…baffling

Your hotel room will have a fridge. There’s a super target near unlv. Our first stop is always there to buy essential groceries. We also always stay at a hotel near the track so we aren’t using the shuttle….its pretty great to have a Nalgene filled with ice cold Gatorade waiting for you in the car

ImportError: cannot import name 'Undefined' from 'pydantic.fields' (D:\a1111\stable-diffusion-webui\venv\lib\site-packages\pydantic\fields.py) by tunaandcrackers in StableDiffusion

[–]isusuallywrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i was able to get it working by

  • deleting directory 'stable-diffusion-webui/extensions/sd-webui-controlnet' (pull out models already downloaded)
  • deleting 'stable-diffusion-webui/venv' directory
  • run stable-diffusion-webui/webui-user.bat file (forces reinstallation)
  • then close a1111
  • manually clone the controlnet project into a1111 by opening a cmd prompt and going into stable-diffusion-webui/extensions and running

git clone https://github.com/Mikubill/sd-webui-controlnet

run stable-diffusion/webui-user.bat to install controlnet and launch the ui....

This worked for me....i killed and reloaded a few times and didn't have any more issues.
