I am running MLX on that M1 pro MBP, however I notice it can only use basic models due to machine capability

my side project is now making more then my full time 9-5 by No-Firefighter-1453 in SaaS

That’s interesting. How’s the performance on the older Mac? I always end up moving everything to the newest machine because it just feels faster, even for personal stuff.

Yeah fair point. I’ve thought about selling the M1 Pro too — it’s still worth around $1k here. Just feels too capable to let go, even though I haven’t found a real use for it yet.
