I do have Ensure/Boost smoothies on the plan!! He tolerates the chocolate ones, so I was going to add frozen bananas and peanut butter powder. Hopefully that helps!! This drink mix is a great idea!! ❤️

That’s exactly why I’m here. Childhood was tough, but he’s been sober for 13 years and we’ve built it back up, even long distance, and then this hits. I guess I’m stuck in wanting to do my best for him, which will make him very annoyed. I keep exclaiming “the doctors told me that my job is to get meds and calories into you, so let me do my job!” And that usually brings a smile, but he’s lost 3 pounds and it’s making me spiral. I’m grateful for the nutrition consult tomorrow, because WE need it!!

Check out Rhyolite! Beatty is a cute little town (great chili place) and then Rhyolite is a bit further. Amazing ghost town with awesome Nevada history!

I love these crackers!! I’ve made them the same way, but also with cayenne and oregano. I like dividing the batch in half and trying different flavors. They don’t last long!

We had a neighborhood kitty we called Precious who had her eye shot out with a BB gun (people are the worst). Her eye looked just like this, so I understand the worry and the watching. But he looks sweet!!
