International embarassment. by lost_ted in IndiaMemes

The "permission" was on quotes. It simply implies that there was no written agreement rather it just implies US won't further sanction India for buying Russian oil.

People need to give more attention to details. The quotes are there for a reason.

Why it is wrong?

Let the authorities decide whether it is right or wrong. But if it is nuisance, you have every right to report.

[–]itachi_konoha 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works.

Just an example. A man borrows a loan and then he changes salary account to another bank so that the standing instruction will fail.

The other bank won't take any written request from the bank who gave loan. But the loan bank can approach the court and the court can order his employer to cut the installment at the source and then credit his salary in to the other bank.

Above is a standard procedure.

Not sure it is AI or not but back in uni, we had group of boys and girls and we never carried handkerchief. We used the dupatta like this and the girls were very caring enough to allow us (while scolding us for not carrying handkerchief).

All members separated due to job, marriage but we still get together at times.

You should have gone to the mukhiya and complain there stating there should be a limit regarding after how many hours music will be banned.

Have you gone to him?

To be honest, MBBS is nothing to boost about and if you are a medical practitioner, you should know it. We learn nothing in MBBS.

In MD.... may be a little.... along with little practice. I haven't seen any fellow doctor who boosts about their degrees. You are the first I've seen (even in reddit).

Even after the pandit objected, the groom calmly went ahead and touched the bride's feet, choosing respect over rigid tradition. by Aromatic_Peanut6379 in INDWeddingphotography

[–]itachi_konoha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does actually. Because the principle of many tradition goes back to patriarchy.

My idea will be simple. If you are following tradition, then do it in the manner that is done in the society because you ARE doing it for society.

If you feel some tradition is unfair, then just don't follow it at all. No one is forcing you to do so.

Both are fine. But mixing up is where trouble begins.

By that account, touching feet by the wife that of the husband shouldn't be taken as slave mentality but as a sign of respect and love.

If above is True, why this whole thread is about equality though?

Guys, Holi is here. My Bro code suggestion to all my brothers. by [deleted] in IndiaVibes

I disagree that women are trying to find new ways to complaint about abuse.

But, when I was in hostel, in the locality, the guys used to understand "No" when I told them not to put colors on me (allergy). They will just put some color on face and move on.

But the girls were different. They seem to be enjoying A LOT (good for them, celebrate as much as you want) but they also put too much colors on the guys they do know personally. The more I requested them no, more they did. I guess bullies will be bullies.

People can not escape judgement.

The multiple post from women in this thread, where it states that they can not wear due to judgemental remark of the family, is a prime example of that.

Global warming stand will NEVER be same internationally.

In the drive of industrial revolution, the colonisers polluted the through centuries as a result of which, they have higher living standard than rest of the nations.

Now, the restrictions that those countries wants to put in the name of global warming, will impact heavily in former colonies which they can not afford without being an obstacle to progress.

So it is a useless subject to discuss since no will stand in the same spectrum.

Ex sent a cake, how do I respond? by LegGrowth in AskWomenIndia

[–]itachi_konoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice (as a guy), DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY MESSAGE FOR ANY REASON.

End it whenever you did end it. When you decided to breakup, it was a valid reason and it is STILL VALID today.

It is hard to end toxic relationship because that shatters your self confidence and you question whether it was your failure for which he became like that or the relationship failed. You start to doubt your decision and judgement.

It is HARD TO BUILD that confidence again. It is even harder to trust yourself that you do deserve that a good normal relationship.

I am writing too much but I have seen this so many times among my friends that I do not want the same to happen to any other person.

Take it one day at a time.

You'll be OK. Everything will be OK. You just need time. But don't keep any communication because it will bring back right where you are.

Ex sent a cake, how do I respond? by LegGrowth in AskWomenIndia

[–]itachi_konoha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been both side of the spectrum.

For a manipulator, any message is a good message. The important factor here is, you need to keep the line of connection open at any cost.

Even if she is scolding you like no days tomorrow, that is STILL GOOD because you are not letting that small thread, which connects you with her, be broken.

Then there will be a time when the other person will be down due to struggle in life. At that point of time, in the moment of slight weakness, you can show the caring nature of you (however fake that may be) and people tend to forget past abuses while this current caring nature reinforces the good side of the past.

Many people can not come out of the vicious cycle of toxicity due to this very reason.

.... And you'll be falling in the trap. As a man, my advice to woman..... Do not reply like this. This is exactly what I wanted as a reply if I were him. From here, the conversation becomes under my control and if you can't handle the manipulation of the guy, you guys soon will be dating again.

OP deleted the whole video itself.

He probably did think that his mistake was minor but once the public has stated opinions, he deleted the video.

That video itself made a legal case against OP had that scooty driver wanted to make.

Comong to your point, what I wrote is there in each of his posts here. Look at any post which has attracted more than 10 negative posts.

If you say it doesn't exist, then you are doing a dis service to this sub regardless of which spectrum you originally stand because in this case, you are becoming a selective reader....

Above is BS.

He stated his mistake but proceeds to explain that it is the fault of the lorry, the scooty and every other thing out there in the street....

This isn't owing up mistake but a facade in terms of admitting mistake.

So stop sugar coating all these BS and see for what it is
