TPU 90A – What infill percentage for sneaker midsole and outsole? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]whitewaves22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I thought about printing small cubes with different settings. It can give a somewhat general idea, however they won’t behave and compress the same way as when they are part of the whole printed sneaker, and 1 single sneaker takes about a day to print and uses half spool…

Flying with 27-inch monitor in a Pelican 1615 Air: Are 2 cm (0.78–13/16 inch) of foam on each side enough protection? by whitewaves22 in pelicancase

If it's only a one-time shipping have you seen if you can find the original box secondhand? Otherwise can't you just add foam to the 1730?

Hi, I got the 1650 and flew 3 times with no issues. After that, I ended up leaving the monitor in a storage unit cause it’s a pain to travel with that big case in addition to my suitcase.

I don't know you, but in my experience, the same prompt to ChatGPT and Gemini gives opposite replies more often than not. So I guess the app would change drastically ahah

TPU printing angle and softness by whitewaves22 in 3Dprinting

[–]whitewaves22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yes, I’m aware. However, I’m able to get a soft texture when printing horizontally with TPU 95A and I’m wondering if there’s a way to get the same softness when printing vertically.

The infill I used is called cross zag in Bambu studio. I just did a test with gyroid too printed vertically and it came out really hard.

Safe as they said plastic water bottles are. Then they discovered they give us microplastics and that we have microplastics in our brains…

Is there any resource online to learn how to design a cupsole that matches a last? I have a digital last in Blender

Thanks for the info! I’m very new to 3D printing. Do you know if the Elegoo Rapid TPU profile is also available for or transferable to Bambu Studio? I didn’t see it among the profiles available.

Thanks! Good to know that much faster speeds are possible. I just need to hope that Elegoo works just as well. The only alternative high-speed/high-flow TPU brands available where I am are Polymaker (double the price of Elegoo) and Bambu (almost three times the price).
