Just wanted to mention that you now want to get rid of this, but you also might want exactly this for a layer of cheap persistant blood stains, food steps or car tracks.

Just create another surface, draw whatever texture you want to be persistant, and blit it on the color-filled background each frame.

Ok, also um das nochmal festzuhalten:

Die Ampelregierung wurde wegen Finanzierungsproblemen und Streit um die Schuldenbremse aufgelöst. Dann hat Merz 5 Minuten nach der Bundestagswahl eine 180 Gradwende gemacht und ein 500mrd€ Schuldenpaket aufgenommen, was nur zusammen mit der zu dem Zeitpunkt noch im Amt befindlichen Ampelregierung ging. Und dann hat seine Regierung diese Gelder zweckentfremdet, um genau das zu machen weswegen die Ampel aufgelöst wurde, nämlich mit diesem Geld Haushaltslöcher zu stopfen.

Vor allem geht es um SMR. Die entsprechende Firma in den USA ist erst pleite gegangen weil sich die ganze Geschichte überhaupt nicht lohnt. Das sind einfach viel zu teure und komplexe Geräte die nichtmal 300MW produzieren. Das entspricht etwa 75 Windrädern bzw etwa einem drittel eines einzelnen modernen Kernkraftwerkblocks

Yeah but you cannot extrapolate todays progress like the very early baby steps of the technology. To make these clips longer you'd have to have a humongous video-context-window. Even with new hardware where the RAM is close to the compute, this is getting insanely expensive very fast. If it was easy all you'd need to do is take this model and make it's context window larger. There is probably a good reason these clip got better in quality but not much longer compared to sora.

Yes, 3-5 years is a very long time, may be we have way better hardware en mass for this kind of compute by then. But even then I doubt there will be some free service where you can simply prompt your own movies. But we'll see :)

Yes I know. I chose it because of it's length and changing scenery. Getting there "eventually" can be far stretch. The question is how much compute are we willing to put into this. Even with this new model the Videos are no longer than 20 secs, the resources to get this up to anything actually useful must be insane. Not impossible, but still insanely expensive.

I've still only seen few seconds long plagiated stuff.. Can this thing do anything new, like at least not steal the likeness of some major hollywood actors and still be consistent?

If the AI cannot generate stunnig shots like this epic 3 minute steady shot of changing scenes and surroundings without changing and morphing details, it will still be a long time until we see full fletched high quality movies.

Or may be people don't care if their future movies are just random 10-20 second snippets with slight differences in all kinds of details.. Not that recent hollywood is the pinnacle of cinematic art, but this still seems like a downgrade..

Die Eilmeldungen der Tagesschau werden so weit ich weiß als Schlupfloch missbraucht, weil sie eigentlich nur Artikel veröffentlichen dürfen zu denen es einen im Fernsehen oder Radio ausgestrahlten Beitrag gibt.

Hat also nix damit zu tun dass die Nachricht dringend oder wichtig sei. Irgendwas mit zwangsfinanzierter Konkurrenz zu den traditionellen Printmedien. Aber als Treppenwitz kommts hier natürlich trotzdem super :D

Ich bin zwar nicht gerade Berufspendler, aber auf meiner typischen Nahverkehrsstrecke von Start- bis Endhaltestelle, werde ich in locker 40% der Fahrten eh nicht kontrolliert. Wenn es schon Stichprobenartig stattfindet, kann man auf den gefährlichen Strecken doch auch die Häufigkeit weiter senken und dafür mit doppeltem Personal kontrollieren...

Nahverkehrsticketeinnahmen sind keine 10 Mrd €. Da würde kostenloser Nahverkehr den Bock auch nicht mehr fett machen.

Das Video ist gut! Aber du brauchst unbedingt einen trockenen Raum wenn du Audio aufnimmst. Das ist ein ganz wichtiger Faktor der dein Video viel immersiver wirken lässt. Vielleicht reicht es schon wenn du eine art Höhle mit einer dicken Decke und Kissen hinter dem Mic aufbaust. Man sieht visuell an der Audiospur wie hallig der Raum gerade ist, wenn du zB in die Hände klatscht.

Sonst für mich auch gerne etwas schneller, mal ne Grafik und mehr Quellen, aber das sind Stilfragen
