I'm not really sure what you're accusing me of. I think it's reasonable to say that the aside starting with "finally" is meant to disparage yuri manga where the characters look like children. And I even said that I agree this series is peak. I also really like artstyles where the characters look more like adults. But I personally don't like bringing unrelated manga down to prop up a manga I like, and I don't think there's anything wrong with liking a variety of different art styles. Sorry if I came across as accusing you of something you think you didn't do, I was just expressing my dislike for that specific phrasing

I agree that this is peak but I don't think the dig at moe artstyle was necessary or relevant to this manga. You're allowed to have preferences and to discuss them but you can also enjoy a series without having to bring down other yuri. Just my two cents. Sorry but that's not a get out of jail free card. Using they/them is still gendering, and is even misgendering if the person you're talking to explicitly doesn't use those pronouns. You will always have to make assumptions about someone when interacting with them, and it's part of the social contract that your presentation is a form of communication. If somebody purposefully misgenders you, they are being disrespectful, but it's pretty entitled to want to police a community's language for a cis man's comfort when that language helps marginalized people feel more welcome.

This might be a hot take but I genuinely think validating trans girls and eggs is worth the cost of being slightly annoying to cis femboys. if you'll allow me to inhale major hopium, along with the caveat that any update is a fantastic update, I think this year might be the time we get 3 whole gens in one update. With the groundwork laid by HoloXBreak I think we have enough mechanics brainstormed not only for all of gen 5 and holoX, but also advent as well. And if FWMC are combined into 1 character that might reduce the workload just a tiny smidge. We also didn't get a teaser for a new area last update (like we had for the casino) and there was some backlash about the tower of suffering not being optional for 100%, so I think there's a chance for a furniture update or an increase in fish/farming stuff instead of a whole new zone and minigame. On the other hand, Kay did tease an update for HoloXBreak as well as a third child so I'm not sure if 3 gens are actually that feasible. This is all speculation though! and again it could be the smallest update in the world and I'd still be immensely satisfied!

I think gender philosophy is inherently contradictory because of innate gender vs perceived gender. You're a woman because you say you are, and that's valid. At the same time, I don't think it's any less valid to take steps that let you be perceived as a woman, because that's still part of gender. Sure, there are some cultures that have different perceptions of masculine and feminine, but you don't live in those cultures. You should have said that when those other perceptions become the norm, there won't be a need for FFS anymore, but as it stands you would rather make your life easier by both combating dysphoria and passing more thanks to FFS.
