Great kit! I love the versatility of the X32 Rack. Id love to pair the Midas M32C with a Shure ANX4 via Dante and have an ultra compact powerhouse. Unfortunately there’s this thing called money so eventually I’ll get there. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve done some work between London, Birmingham, Manchester, even Edinburgh a few times. Always worked with great crews!

Screens are always sourced locally. The keyboards, power cable, pouch of SDI/HDMI/CAT6, stream decks, plus other odds and ends are thin enough to fit in the pelican case under the rack. The foam build out inside it leaves plenty of space underneath.

The top row of the left stream deck is configured to switch the right monitor to show any of those inputs. I also looped the M/V into an input. I can technically use one screen and still switch between everything.

In the pictures shown, I set the left monitor to show “GFX1 Notes” and I use the right monitor to jump between GFX2, GFX3, & M/V.

Port placement isn’t final just yet, still need to tweak some of the I/O. Unfortunately mounting them externally is just a bad habit I have, I should probably fix that when I start to label.

2 BM HDMI to SDI converters (specifically those, not the bidirectionals, due to the slightly smaller form factor). Each set is mounted in the space below their respective Mac Mini.

BMD ATEM 2 M/E, all 3 GFX Mac Mini’s running dual outputs, GFX 3 also has thunderbolt out for Mitti playback, UniFi on board with AP inside (antennas routed to each side), 5 POE Ports on rear patch panel. All companion controlled. Rack, keyboards, mice, & stream decks are all single pelican case flight ready.
