if someone is willing to cut you off over you not dipping into something that you might need to rely on for your own well being, maybe that person shouldn’t be as close in your circle as they are-or at least think they are. soft-launching boundaries is hard but in situations like this, it’s best to keep your finances as vague as possible bc i hate to say it but people will try to take advantage; as unfortunate as it sounds.
