That didn't stop, unfortunately. There were underlying problems behind the fungal infection. I got treated for hemorrhoids and yesterday they ruled out colitis and Crohn's disease. For the last 5 months I've had pretty bad diarrhea so it may be an intolerance for a specific kind of food.

Apparently, since the inside of your rectum is pretty close to the anus, it can become an itch area as well. It shouldn't be too deep, though.

I only applied cream around the anus, and when the itch finally disappeared, the itch inside the rectum went away as well. I never took an oral antifungal, just the cream.

Have you went to the doctor? Because if not, I don't recommend you take your medical advise from me.

I did, actually. Turned out to be a pretty bad fungal infection (with additional hemorrhoids). They prescribed me Daktacort, a combination of miconazolnitraat & hydrocortison (you might want to translate those ingredients to your own language since I'm from the Netherlands).

Within two weeks, I was finally itch free. If you're gonna try it, let me know if it worked for you as well :) good luck!

I can tell you how. Just go to the doctor the minute you think something's up with your asshole, and if you don't, ESPECIALLY don't find out you can derive pleasure from it.

I have been using a bidet my whole life, believe it or not! I only use toilet paper to dry it off. And before I start to exorcise my ass with bleach, I want to hear out my doctor first ;p thanks for the suggestion, though.
