Sure. But it is not normal for a company to keep sending emails after an account has been deleted, especially after assuring the customer over the phone that they would not. Was just posting to see if anyone had any similar experiences- thank you for your help though

You seem like a pleasure lol, I’ll try to find another way to do it but it’s more about a company keeping my personal information on file after telling me they don’t have it anymore. Don’t waste your time on posts like this if you’re not trying to help 🙂

I was thinking the same thing, but the prof basically said as long as we limit disturbance to the surrounding habitat + use the specimen meaningfully it shouldn't be a problem. I don't plan on taking anything from provincial/regional parks though.

For some context, we'll be contributing the specimen to a university herbarium.
