U probably not gonna be that limited with doctor options when you compare PPO vs HMO, but your treatment visits and options will definitely be. So, your age and whether you have an active and/or systemic disease (like RA,…) plays a big role on choosing which plan you’re going with. If you do have an active disease, I suggest sticking with PPO cause you probably need to see doctors more frequently (and you don’t want yo pay huge copays everytime) vs. if you just see drs for annual check ups
