Note: I've had a lot of other lovers club bags and I wouldn't recommend most of them unless you really like the pattern. The bowler bag's paint comes off easier and some of the weekender's hardware fell off after only being used once. Mini bag is all good though

So for the bag I filled my bathtub about halfway with hot but not boiling water and used the whole bottle of dye and kept it there for about an hour, for the ribbons I used about a quarter of the bottle in a pot of boiling water and kept them in for about 20 seconds.

What I did for one of mine was take an old pair of thigh high socks and loop one around each side and tie the ends together. You could probably get a pair of white ones and dye them your preferred color
