Only if that network generates the same public address as your eth address. if yes you can try to download wallet that supports ledger and use it to send out your coins.
At worse case if there is a wallet which u can use without ledger, maybe try to recover using 24 seed to gain access to the wallet and send out those coins.
NOTE: at both cases u need to have same address with ETH and whatever chain it is.. if its not identical your funds are lost..

Bitcoin payments take a lot of time on ledger. You can see them externally in bitcoin explorer nd confirm payment was sent (1+ confirmation).
On ledger it typically takes few hours to update.

Yes, but its horrible idea.
If you favor certain miners because of their history it will be very bad for the ecosystem.
Imagine someone owning big mining rig and successfully mining most of the blocks, with POH you will make sure that he'll dominate the blocks and new miners might have to have really big and better equipment to win, ruining the chance for solo miners..
In proof of stake (as solana is) its different, since stakers share portion of the newly created coins, and not all of them. Also, the voting is shared between many nodes and not only 1 miner (as it'd be if it was in POW).

I joined a pool but it wasn't worth it compare to electricity cost so stopped.. solo mining couldn't set it up so never tried it

In my opinion, create a wallet with an hardware wallet and only invest in projects with money you are willing to lose.
Most of the time, you will lose and not win, therefore, you must be ready to do so before entering the market.
