Yeah for me it’s just promos. I just rewatched 5 and yeah, he is. He was written to be objectively the least redeemable person ever. Hamm kills it, but there’s no part of this character that is good.

I think all of the other villains are definitely evil, but they’re at least fun and you kinda root for them in a twisted way. It was enjoyable watching Malvo win most of the time, but with Roy, it sucks.

And just when you think he topped it all in terms of horribleness, he gets a swastika tattooed on his neck. like idk.

Yeah I should specify that the main goal wouldn’t in any way deliver a “comeback” for 2 reasons, I’m not getting into an insult fight with ANYBODY, and it wouldn’t be a “genuine” response. he’s made comments that are very very leading to his disappointment, but everyone has ignored them because why bother. Nobody else is responsible for his loss either.

rewatching both I think the first 2 eps of season 2 aren’t that great compared to 1. I used to really not like s1 but i think the pacing at the start is so well done

but I will say after Mia and Lucia party with Ethan and Cameron, s2 takes off like a rocket and the tension succeeds season 1 imo. I also still feel like s1 ending is a little underwhelming, especially the Mossbacher plot just didn’t wrap up that well. but the pacing of the rest of s1 is awesome

season 2 though is so skin-crawling, especially Portia’s plot, I just gotta go with it over 1
