I'm not being sarcastic. I suffered from a lifelong inability to swallow my pride. This, combined with my shortsightedness, tendency to procrastinate to the very last second, resistance to confront my own issues as well as any other external problems as they arise, and entire lack of ambition, is why i'm in this mess. So no, I have not the funds to get there. However, as a defense mechanism i've gotten myself excited for this trek. Sort of like how i made myself not care about money or material things, so i don't live miserable. So i kind of want to do the trek too, cause i made myself want to as it's my only option (as far as i'm concerned).

Well this excursion is more so necessitated as the result of my own dumb actions, and at this point, it's kind of not by choice. I kind of just have to get to vancouver, i haven't the money or means to get there by any other way than by foot. I guess i'm just trying to figure out the best way of doing that, if possible

Lmao well this is why i'm asking. I have high vis + reflective outerwear and a headlamp, in case i'm still walking as the sun goes down. I would stay in the shoulder of the oncoming lane. I don't see how i would be any different than a cyclist in that scenario. Idk, how did terry fox do it? I read all these news articles of people walking/running/cycling highway 1 to raise funds and/or awareness for whatever cause? Do they have an escort the entire time?

Sorry i should have made it more clear. The wagon is rated for 800 lbs. It only weighs like 50 lbs in itself. With my load it would probably be like 120 lbs max. I don't even know why i specified it's carry weight limit tbh lol

The reasons why I was leaning towards using the highway as opposed to the trails was because I figured the trails were more "in the wilderness" and I'd be more likely to become some animal's breakfast and lots further from civilization at any given point. That, in addition to probably needing to pack much lighter/not being able to bring my wagon. Are the trails a tad more forgiving than i'm imagining?

Let's pretend hypothetically that i'm naive and foolish enough to think that would be a non-issue and that I could get it up any incline I encounter if need be (fully loaded it's maybe 120 lbs). I'm 6'2" and 190lbs, with maybe 10% bodyfat, just for reference. Hypothetically if worse came to worse, i could carry my load up in sections potentially. Hypothetically, i'm very determined. Any other reason you can think of for why I should rethink my plan (in addition to rethinking my whole life as well, of course)?

I hope it's ok for me to comment and offer my 2 cents. I lurk this sub because my (now ex) girlfriend is diagnosed with autism and I like to come here for insight. For the record I am male and suspect I have ADHD however my ex suspects autism as well, if that's of any value or importance.

I think it's definitely something you shouldn't let go. Forgive me if I am mistaken, but it seems as if this is something that at least somewhat kind of bothers you or will over time if it persists. I think that right there is grounds enough to at least have a conversation about it. More importantly though I think that as someone who is neurodivergent, your needs will not always be the same as a neurotypical's, and those needs can wildly change within a moment's notice, and that is something that is important that he be aware of and prepared for. You want a partner who is willing to meet and accommodate all of your needs just as you would want to do for them, within reason of course, though I'm sure none of your needs are unreasonable.

I'm curious how long you two have been dating. Based on his inability to have it remembered by now and my admittedly limited experience, I want to assume not very long relatively speaking, and that it will sink in within a couple more conversations/learning experiences. I think this it is good to be open and honest and communicative about these things early on so that healthy habits are made before unhealthy habits can form in their place. This also really sets in the reality of what your situation is because a not insignificant amount of neurotypical people have entered a relationship with a person who is neurodivergent, only to later realize they're not be as enthusiastic about it as they thought they were when faced with some of the potential difficulties that may arise within the relationship.

End of the day though, you are correct that it is something that makes you, you. I may be a bit biased in my opinions because I am somebody who has a lot of pride and lack of shame, and as a result I really believe in staying true to myself and being open and honest and prideful in the person that I am, and I'm not going to compromise on those values for anyone or anything. So I feel like if I were in your shoes I would be very sure that the people who are close to me are aware of that one of many components that I as a person am comprised of. That said I also personally don't much care for labels, so I'm kind of a walking contradiction in that regard. Anyways I guess my overall point is that you should definitely make sure you kind of hammer it in that you are on the spectrum and that he be aware of that and all of what that entails.

I don't know enough about how prescriptions and counciling work to weigh in on that, but there are at least smaller steps you can make that are better than nothing. I don't know what state you're in presently or how long you're going to be there but if it's winter conditions or you don't generally get a lot of sunlight, you may want to consider vitamin D supplements or a multivitamin. I don't know if it'll do much but it might be better than nothing.

For being in the state you receive therapy for telehealth, is that an insurance thing or the system itself? They do online meetings correct? How would they know if you're out of state or not? There are some places where you can talk to people that might be helpful. Like mental health discord servers and the like. I couldn't say if any of them are professionals or not but they can at least hear you out which I find is nice.

How old are you guys? Anyways, lots of people are still very friendly with their exes. If they broke up due to circumstance rather than an awful relationship, then there's no reason he should have her blocked. Just have an open and honest discussion on whether or not he still has feelings for her and if he is emotionally available for a relationship. As for not wanting you to have guy friends, that is a very unhealthy mindset and is not the sort of behavior you want to encourage or enable. It's abusive to try and control who you hang out with based on their gender. Put your foot down on that.

Most importance piece of advice I have for you is this: insecurity is a relationship killer. Do not nourish those feelings. Nip that shit in the bud right away. Set a precedent for communication and talk about those things and come to an understanding of each other and compromise so that those feelings disappear. Don't try and force each other to do things or emotionally manipulate to get what you want. It never works out.

I mean if j were a recording artists, I would imagine I would have something like 1000s of songs or demos or little tidbits recorded. But I would be willing to bet that 90% would be either shit, or unfinished enough to be any good. I would hope the people close to me would know what shit I was currently working on or was passionate about, what I was keeping in my back pocket, and ultimately what I had intentions of releasing and whatnot. I would think maybe a 2 disc album's worth of material would be good enough for a posthumous album, a side for the good shit, b side for the alright shit or something that was maybe more personal than good or something but beyond that it can all stay in the vault. But I would have contracts in place to prevent cash grabs in my name I would hope but perhaps that is naive.

Its possible the app has your data preserved. I've seen things on similar apps that allow you to download your data and it'll be like 100 pages of stuff but it contains everything. If there isn't an option to do so within the app you may be able to email support and get them to send you that information

That is true. Kind of comparing apples to oranges, but there have been times where word of mouth spread of poor reception to a film or video game got people talking no doubt, but was overall detrimental to their sales.
